History

Established in 1997.

Shannon Moench opened the doors of Central Alberta Tile One over 20 years ago! His exceptional service and attention to detail helped the business flourish into a 10,000 square feet showroom (and 15,000 square feet of warehouse filled with products). Additionally, Central Alberta Tile One currently employs over 85 employees. 20 years later we are still family owned, and still proud to be serving Central Alberta.

Meet the Business Owner: Shannon M.

I was introduced into the flooring industry back around 1985. My brother was a ticketed tile installer in Calgary and he took on a large, 6 month tile installation job at the Ponoka Hospital; that's where I started, and the rest is history. I opened Central Alberta Tile One (the retail store) around 1999. Thank God my wife had a great outside job to pay the bills! After a couple of tough years, I figured out that in order to run a big store, you need to surround yourself with good people. That's when I started hiring from the inside out. To this day, I give a lot of credit to my staff for the success of Central Alberta Tile One. My ultimate goal is to have happy customers and to be able to offer the industry leading, latest and greatest products available.
