I dislike the reviews that are short and sweet wether positive or negative because you never really…read moreknow what actually happened. This is not one of those reviews. Here's the story: We spot what looks like a great deal online, a 2008 mack with a shade over 100k miles. Turns out the seller is a company called TruckMart USA. We made arrangements to buy to truck under the premise that the mileage was correct and verified and furthermore the truck was in good working order. They proceeded to take the truck to the local Mack dealership where the miles were verified to be correct but the found an injector was bad. To be clear, at this time we are under the impression that the truck was getting verified and getting looked over for problems and they simply found a bad injector. It was not till later that we discover the truck had been taken in for a hard start and trouble completing a regeneration. I discovered this from the service manager himself at RRTrucks Sales (mack dealership new castle rd), also the truck was never looked over. Rrtruck was told specifically to fix the injectors and stop there. We end up splitting the cost of the injectors (all 6) with Truckmart USA as a part of the transaction. Long story short I pick up the truck and meet Joe, a smooth talking salesmen. As soon as I drive up he lets me know how beautiful the truck is and how it's one of a kind. Ok fair enough. I complete the paperwork and am ready to drive away and notice the coolant level code is thrown. My first thought is, not sure how the rr truck mack dealership missed that but oh well that will be an easy fix. I wish that was the only only thing the dealership missed!!! Or as I later found out "told not to pursue". I made it about 10-11hrs down the road before the truck was completely immobilized. I'll pause right here while if you want to guess what went wrong?? If you guessed the regen system then you a correct. It is currently at a different mack dealership that I trust being fully fixed. I contacted RR truck sales first to get the facts, and they told me they would send me the invoice. I asked for the technicians notes in the service report and they said they do not do that. Every verified mack dealership I've gone to has technicians notes. I've dealt with Tri-State mack, bruckners, and others-all of these guys give details on what is going on in the repair. Either way it never mattered because the service department to this day had not sent over even the invoice. Even TruckMart will not send me the unaltered PDfF file. To conclude this is the biggest collusion scandal since the Russia thing and to be honest I don't know if I'll ever find out what really happened. If by posting my review I can save just one person from doing business with Truckmart USA or rrtruck prospect, PA I have accomplished something. I would recommend buying your truck from another place even if you think you somehow getting a great deal I assure you, you're not. Also I would strongly recommend getting your parts and service from another dealership. My two regrets are doing business with Truckmart USA in the first place and my second is not having a neutral Mack dealership check the truck out and verify if it's in good working condition. I'm not a guy who gets online complain or post bad reviews, I just want to be treated fairly. I posted a great review for Itag Equipment over a year ago. Anyway, happy truck hunting guys. Thanks, Mason

After 4 hours of my insurance company trying to find a company that was open to help us, a guy showed up. Only to tell me that I melted my idler pulley and he can't help me. He did refer me to another company that wasn't open til 8am. HOVIS Truck repair was the name and when the guy finally answered, he was a Godsend!! His first priority was to get us off the road and in a safe place. (Broke on 90east not safe). I asked what the cost was going to be because I was working with limited funds. He said that he wasn't worried about that, we could talk it over later. Oh, by the way, I had a 5'X8' enclosed u hall trailer with me. So HOVIS Truck Repair shows up and tows the truck and trailer back to the shop, runs to another shop for my pulley, replaces it all done in about two hours!! Not only that, total cost INCLUDING the tow was so affoedable. what an amazing company. The driver told us that they "Never say no to a job". AWESOME. Back on the road, get to my sisters house in Massachusetts. We cruise back to Michigan with no issues and safely arrive at her new home at 6am this morning. Y'all think you had a busy weekend. wow, I'm tired from texting this. Thanks again to HOVIS Truck Repair and the guy from TA that referred me to them. there aren't enough stars I can suggest for them. FINALLY, southern hospitality alive in the north.

Because of their help we made it to our trade show on time despite this delay.
