Upon arriving, I found that they had only one of these cars on the lot (they had just come out). The salesman told me that they had two more on the way, a white one, and a black one. I give a $500 deposit on the black one, and a week later my car arrived. As someone who used to sell cars, let me tell you that #1 Cochran is an honest dealership. Everything is 100% above board, no surprises, no tricks. In my case. I was purchasing a brand new model, one of the first ones made. In fact, the salesman later confirmed that I owned just the 2nd car of this type in Pittsburgh. Due to the demand, I was told that they could offer me a $500 "courtesy discount" but that was it. However, they offered me a $2,000 trade in allowance on a car that, in all honesty, was worth just $1,000. I am very pleased with the pricing and customer service offered by this dealership, and would be happy to recommend them to friends.

You see, Hyundai used a plastic piece that wore out sooner than it should have -- Hyundais screw up, not mine. I actually had to borrow the money at the time to get this fix done, and my mechanic told me it would eventually become dangerous. You see, I obtained the car used, and I had no idea there was a recall on this problem -- the original owner apparently blew off the recall notice, and never told me. If I had known I wouldn't have gotten it done, for free. I take recall notices seriously. I only found out about this design problem when, out of the blue, my steering started to shimmy, the fix cost $900. I even shopped around -- $900!!! Not happy at all. Exceptions are exceptions for a reason, to give someone a break. I guess Cochran doesn't think I deserved a break.

Very manipulative and sketchy. I was clear about the work that needed to be done on my car, when I went to pick it up-pressured me to pay without seeing or checking to see if the repairs were made. Head gasket blew on the way home. I was always polite and reasonable with them-but he blamed me for the car breaking and told me it was my fault he did not do the repairs we agreed on that he said he would do. So they took thousands of dollars from me and my family, in the end the car had to be totalled. And then acts like everyone else is to blame including his own workers. No wonder they are failing and needing to scam customers left and right. The ONLY thing keeping this business afloat is the free garunteed income from being a police impound lot. Shameful.

I went to a real honest mechanic and spent 600 dollars and was back on the road, running smooth. Come to find out they use cheap parts, and my problem was caused by the previous repair from Marcinos. No honesty just a scumbag operation. If they pay to have this removed I will repost over and over everywhere I can.

I started the process online and ran my credit application so I didn't have to wait up at the dealership all day long with a toddler. Alan was super attentive to what I wanted, he got my requests down all the way from miles, model, color, and features. When it was time to actually buy the car we were there maybe two hours signing everything with the trade- in and new purchase. Highly recommend! Alan was great with communication, I loved that they text with simple questions and concerns.

Grossly Deceptive Practices…read more Beware of the despicable deceptive practices employed at this business. I called about a newly listed used car and was led to believe by the salesperson Clark that I was first in line. As the car's time of availability changed, he called me to let me know so that I wouldn't miss the opportunity, and so I adjusted my schedule accordingly. I arrived before the agreed upon time, met with Clark, got the carfax and inspection report to read while I waited for the car to be finished at the shop, or so Clark claimed was happening. About 45 minutes later, another person entered the showroom, was shown the car unbeknownst to me (I hadn't even been told it was ready), and was allowed to purchase it. Only after that was concluded, about 1 hr of waiting, did Clark tell me "I am sorry, but someone else has bought it." Clearly I was just brought in just as backup and deceived as to my prospects of getting the car. The entire time, Clark was apologizing for the delay and explaining it as the car being finished when in reality he was waiting for another buyer and stringing me along. Disgusting. Even worse, the manager washed his hands of Clark's actions, indicating that this was in fact a tactic they employ. I strongly advise avoiding this disreputable dealership.
