The technician, Andy, came in after he gathered his equipment out of the truck. He looked at the equipment, and presented an estimate of the impending work that was going to be needed. Andy informed me that lighting had struck my unit and sent an electrical serge through my home. Because I have home owners insurance, Andy's company worked with my insurance company and was able to install into my home an inside and outside unit with no out of the pocket costs besides the small deductible owed to my insurance company. When I set up the appointment, the rep on the phone was courteous, helpful and well informed. I found that all of the employees I encountered were knowledgeable as well as friendly and courteous. A couple of weeks back we hired Mobile Bay Handyman to come look at our disposal. During the…read morevisit, it was determined it was completely dead and needed to be replaced. The job was completed quickly and professionally. The garbage disposal works and we happily paid the bill. The first time we ran our dishwasher after this, it leaked everywhere. We called Mobile Bay Handyman back, told the person who answered the phone what the problem was and that a tech was here recently. They sent a field tech the same day. The tech diagnosed the issue immediately. When Mobile Bay Handyman installed the garbage disposal, the tech who did that did not remove a "plug" that allows water to flow from the dishwasher...thus causing the leak and water everywhere. We received a bill, but wanted to discuss it with them as it was there fault for not removing the plug during the installation. The person we spoke to did not agree with our assessment. He basically feels that if a surgeon were to cut you open to repair an artery for example and you bleed out as a result that this is not the surgeons fault. I offered to pay the "service fee" but felt that Mobile Bay Handyman should absorb the rest of the cost because, again, it was there fault for not doing all the steps at installation. My advice is to be careful and ask all the right questions (do your own research on potential problems) and make sure everything is done correctly.

They found some issues that added several extra thousand on and I accepted their work with a 30 year warranty. 5 months after the roof being replaced I had an inspection done to sell the property. The inspection came back that the roof wasn't properly sealed and need to corrections in several areas. I emailed them, called them and left voicemails asking them to help resolve this issue. They IGNORED me. Never received one follow-up after asking them to look into their work. I ended up having to repay again to fix their work to close on the property. Highly suggest avoiding them. Communication is solid until they take your money, work proved to be subpar after inspection.

One of their workers admitted the wrong shinglesx were used on our flashing? EZ Roof kept blaming our house: poor siding or windows. But we lived here 4 years before their new roof with not one leak ever. We paid a lot of money for painters to come repaint and Caulk everything possible. It helped but something was not installed correctly for almost all of our dormers to leak.
