Excellent service, excellent price! Moving into a new…read morehouse, we needed our foyer and upstairs hallway painted. The crew was very professional: they showed up on time, were friendly, and cleaned up after finishing. Overall, outstanding job! They made our foyer and hallway look 10x better than it was before. We would definitely recommend Mack Painters to everyone in the area.

I utilized Mack Painters earlier this year to paint over and patch a few holes, scuffs, etc on my…read morewalls to get it show ready for selling, and I was completely disappointed. The owner was very nice/friendly and tried to make things better, but to no avail. I was told they would take a small paint sample from my wall since it had aged slightly since its first application and have paint made to match accordingly at Sherwin Williams. I paid for the 4 hours of touch ups all around the house. When I arrived home, the painters had eaten some of the snacks in my pantry, which I wasn't mad about, but didn't enjoy cleaning up the trash, there was permanent paint splatters from rinsing paint brushes in my kitchen sink that had dishes in it, and the walls were completely two toned. Also, they didn't fill all the nail holes. Perhaps they ran out of time..... There was a stark difference in the un touched up wall compared to where they had touched up. Turns out they used all my old paint I had rather than buying new paint to match the aged walls, leaving me no paint to touch anything up myself should the need arise. I called the owner and informed him of this and he offered to have painters buy more paint (I paid for it of course) and come over and redo the touch ups. The painters came and went, and rather than splotchy small areas that didn't match the original wall paint, there were large areas where they went over to cover almost everything that didn't match the non touched up areas. For the most part, you can still see the difference in the paint tones (two toned) and the remainder of paint they left also didnt blend in or match with the original paint. I know this because I attempted using it to cover up a couple of small things that were missed. Maybe it is just me this happened to, I'm not sure. It was disappointing though. Addendum: I am now 100% in love with the paint side of this company. What a big difference to a year ago, right? John made things right with me and came in and fixed most of the two tone paint in the "middle interior" section of my home. Sean is an awesome painter with a great personality to boot. Bravo!

!! SCAM ALERT! DO NOT USE ROUND THE BELL PAINTING!!…read more I am writing this review to warn others about the fraudulent practices of Round the Bell Painting. We were quoted for a full house painting job by Uriah Bell, who provided a suspiciously low estimate compared to other contractors. He was prompt in sending an Intuit QuickBooks payment request for a deposit, supposedly to purchase paint. We paid the deposit, and a start date was scheduled. However, Uriah Bell never showed up. His phone was subsequently turned off, leaving us with no way to contact him. Initially, everything appeared legitimate through Yelp and the QuickBooks transaction. After two days of no communication, we investigated further and found the business registration on the SOSNC.gov website. To our shock, there was a listed partner. Upon contacting this partner, we were informed that he had no involvement with the company's current operations and was not responsible for Uriah Bell's actions. We finally managed to reach Uriah Bell through his former partner, only to discover that he had received the deposit and had no intention of completing the work or returning the funds, claiming he had already spent them. This is a clear case of fraud. As business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of integrity and customer service. Uriah Bell's actions are unacceptable and dishonest. We are requesting that Yelp immediately remove Round the Bell Painting from their platform to prevent others from falling victim to this scam. This individual should not be allowed to operate under these fraudulent pretenses.

I thought he was a good honest kid and even bragged about the individual I just met to other people. Said he had contracts with NC State and NCCU. My fault for believing him. He took my deposit of $2200 and said it was for supplies and to pay workers he contracts with. No supplies showed up and the few workers that came said he never paid them. After finally reaching Uriah he said he would refund the money. After 5 promises and 5 excuses, he never refunded the $2,200. He flat out stole it. If you get a quote, be prepared. If you pay a deposit you will not see supplies, work done, or your money back. I have now heard he is getting sued by others that he worked with and stole from. I am not surprised. It is amazing there are people like this. But I found one. Stay away.
