Of course you have liability waivers to fill out, but that's expected. What was not expected how much friendly and detailed safety, gun handling, stance work, thought, attention to detail, etc., was given to you throughout your stay. If you have your own weapons, they do not try to up sell you on anything. The suggestions they give comes with explanations and are logical. I'll leave it at this, if you want a safe environment to learn about weapons, with a highly competent staff, this is the place to go. I saw archery stuff to go with the plethora of gun stuff that's all around. I like the many hunting trophies that are around the place as well. I can't wait to go back and try the outdoor shooting range, as well as target practice inside.

I spoke with Shane Savage regarding what the outdoor range renting process is and he was super friendly and patient with my questions and guided me through it. It is super simple. You reserve a date and time and hopefully it's open, he sends you a confirmation text and you simply show up. He met with me, gave me a wagon with a fold-up table, free paper target (per person), a staple gun, a bucket to collect your brass, and fold-up chairs. It was a smaller range, but perfect for us, There were both wooden target stands to hang your targets (free to use) and steel targets (for $5 extra or $1 extra for more paper targets). My sons and I were the only ones there so it was nice and private. We signed a waiver, setup our own station, put up targets, and had fun safely shooting your weapon(s). The range is about 50yds, but I specifically brought my kids here so they'd get used to a few of our home defense additions at a realistic distance. He does ask that you pick up and collect your trash and brass. I'd recommend bringing water to drink and a trash bag for your convenience. There is a restroom available. It's a field, so there's really enough parking for you. Shane sits in his truck for the duration of your stay and for any questions or requests that you may have later on. The range is $20 to rent for 2 hours per person, but if you come with more people, there's a discounted price. It was $45 for the 3 of us. I know Shane also teaches classes on safety and other courses, but we've never used those services, but according to the numerous 5 star Google reviews that I've read, it's safe to assume he's an amazing instructor. Very friendly and professional. We will definitely be back in the near future. Mahalo Shane!

Now it's not the best because of the upscaleness of the facilities, it's the best because of the diversity and friendliness. The manager of the place described it to me as the ideal Redneck gun club. HAHA, boy was he right. They have a great pavilion with a small kitchen and restrooms available, nice pro shop, several skeet, trap, and 5 Stand stations, and two walking courses as well. They also offer a 100 and 200 yard rifle range and a 70 yard pistol range. What really adds to this is how affordable they make it to be a member. It's a $100 annually to be a member and then another $100 quarterly in fees plus whatever they are charging for the stations you choose to use. I highly recommend that you check them out if you're in the area.
