Ksubi is a clash between avant garde and Jeanswest. The strange meets wearability. There's a large range of eclectic designs that's will keep you frolicking amongst the garments. I picked up a baggy white tee from here with awesome typography on it, also got a black tee with orange lightning bolts. I guess it only falters as the whole vibe of the store is well... it doesn't have one. It's a small space, white walls and a few clothing racks. Last time i was here there was no music playing so that didn't add any ambiance.

Considering the fact that its wares are invariably tight, holey, and/or sheer, it's advisable to be pretty lean if you want to sport Ksubi's garb. It's also advisable to look like you're on smack if you want to elicit some halfway decent service from the staff at its stores. My shopping companion spotted the sales assistant at this particular branch of Ksubi hesitantly begin to approach us as we walked through the door, look us up and down and then retreat back behind the counter. Savers provides little red baskets on wheels for you to drag your loot around in until your arms and shoulders are shaking with exhaustion and excitement, and you know there's nothing left to do but to queue for ages (sometimes) for a change room to make sure that flowery, mid-80s, Sussans shirt goes with the long, Indian skirt you found in the Long Indian Skirts aisle. Gorman has a big part to play in this footwear phenomenon in this town. Other than the fact that these Gorman clogs are making girls look a bit samey, at least from the ankle down, I think Gorman gives us girls the potential to look modern, feminine, smart, fashionable, cool and comfortable with their consistently tasteful style. And Gorman is an eco-warrior too with its range of organic and sustainable garments (made from fabrics that come from sustainable farming practices using non-chemical processing), so you can look great in what you're wearing and feel good about it too. That's a winning combination.

This particular outlet in Brunswick Street is one of the best I've come across. The layout of the store is good - with lots of light and big change rooms. The staff are super sweet (any sweeter and I'd have to poke them in the eye for making the rest of us look bad) and they're really helpful bringing in size changes and suggesting combinations and matching pieces. When it comes to buying Gorman in the future, this will be one of my go-to stores.

The store is visually appealing, clean white walls as a backdrop let the clothing provide the décor. The racks flow with a who's who of the fashion world; Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, Gucci, Chanel, Balenciaga and many more. Bruce is worth a look for fashionistas wanting to give a garment a new home without maxing the credit card.
