I had one cashier today pull out her phone and show photos to the customer she was attending with a long line of probably 8 people waiting. I was like WTH man. I don't have time to wait for you to finish showing your dumb photos to customers while other customers wait in line because of your ignorance and disregard. This is just horrible customer service. The selection is slim pickings, but the store is a lot more organized and cleaner than other Ross'. The prices are also decent but it's hard to find the sizes I need with them being disorganized.

I have had two horrible experiences here at this store with the same staff member within a two week time period. The first incident is where the manager Emma refused to provide service as she said it was too close to closing time and that her staff was clocking out of the system. I explained that it was the final day to make a return during the return exchange period. She said no again due to her employee clocking out. I pleaded with her and asked her if she could help if the other employee was clocked out. She replied no. As I leave the store and get into my car it had just reached the closing time. Today's incident was with the same manager Emma. I made sure to come well before the closing to select a few items. I had my husband and my two children with me. My children were excited about the animal mannequins at the front of the store. While I continued to shop my children followed behind me. But then ran back to the front towards the mannequin. The manager Emma then yelled across the store to me regarding my children even though I was within a few feet. I quickly responded and apologized. As I continued to shop and carry my children, Manager Emma followed me around the section. As I went to the checkout line, she followed my husband and children out the store as they were thieves. I was in the store no longer than 10 minutes. I have never had an interaction like this in my life. I approached her after I purchased my items and spoke of my disappointment and pure disgust with how she provides customer service. Both visits no staff member greeted me or any customers or offered help. I believe that the manager sets the tone for the rest of the employees therefore the environment is unwelcoming and lacks respect. Manager Emma should not be working as a manager of any establishment let alone in customer service.

Memories came alive today at DXL! My sons may be grown, but they still have bdays. I used to LOVE…read moreshopping for them at Casual Male XL Citrus Park. My youngest came to visit from Raleigh a week ago and, in helping him with his laundry, I saw everything he wore was Harbor Bay. I HAD to look it up and discovered they were sold by DXL....the same company as purchases of the past. I jumped at buying him a gift card for his upcoming birthday knowing how he felt about the Harbor Bay line. I called the store at Citrus Park and Joe Puglia answered the phone. He could tell how excited Mama was with her find and that he had one "Happy Birthday" gift card left and he would hold it for me. I flew down there...no, didn't speed...and was so impressed by what I saw when I walked in....the same inviting atmosphere as in the past and Joe waiting for me with a big smile and my card. We had a terrific mini-visit, he got a kick out of my memories of the store. Joe, thank you for making my day with your professionalism. The store was clean and well maintained, save for the bathroom which had a lack of a working towel dispenser or toilet paper holder, both were just rolls set on top of things. Stay classy Tampa. I found Famous Footwear in Largo Mall. They have the high top gym shoes that I need to protect me from high ankle roll. I bought an usable cotton cloth shoe and try out in the gym. But after few games of badminton, I feel paint at the toe. I took the shoes I bought that day and return on the following week when I return to the gym. They clerk of the store allow me to exchange. They are very friendly and helpful. I got the next exchange pair that fit me. Now I put this pair in the car for emergency.
