A friend had his roof done and was able to file an insurance claim to cover the cost. Jimmy handled all of it with the company and my friend did not have to do anything. We weren't as lucky, we could not file a claim because the roof was poorly done to begin with. My husband called and made an appointment for a quote and Jimmy showed up the next day, on time! (This was not the first company I contacted for a quote, but was the first to show up). Jimmy got on the roof and started taking photos so he could show us what he was seeing. Basically over 50% of our board under the shingles was rotten, our fireplace did not have a cap on it, and there was a hole on the side of it with debris piling up on the roof. Jimmy took the time to show me all of this, and explained the whole process so that I understood, without making me feel stupid. Since we were paying out of pocket Jimmy said he could either pull up what was bad and replace it to save money or could redo it all. We had him redo it all. We picked a color and scheduled for the following week. The roofers showed up right at 0700 like they said they would and got to work immediately. I was shocked at how quickly they had it all torn down, let alone, put back up! By 4 pm there was a completely new, sturdy roof! They guys were so polite and professional and really did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. They even made a peak next to the chimney so that no debris or dirt can sit there and erode the brick. Speaking of brick, the next day, Jimmy had his mason there repairing the chimney with the same brick that's no longer made. It looks fantastic.

Framer showed up, demo'd old shower framed out new one. Plumbers came back said he screwed it up & he'd have to come back. A week goes by I finally get a text from them stating the framer will be back. He shows up does his thing couple days later plumbers come back & finish the install. Give me an invoice for $1785 ($585 over their estimate) And note paid in full except for "Jay finish work" framer was supposed to do a little drywall work putting a ceiling in the shower. He spends about 4 hours on the drywall & tells me he needs $1000 "to be made whole". What a joke! $2785 to demo & reinstall a shower! I don't think 4 hours & a quarter sheet of drywall, a little tape & mud are worth $1000. Greenview Calvary Plumbing didn't finish the job in that there's no collar around the shower head, the drywall was not painted & they didn't completely caulk the shower. Stay away from these rip off artists that don't know what their doing.

Sam provided us an estimate for this project without pressuring the customer to sign the deal. Instead, he focused on explaining all the steps involved in the project. He has a very analytical approach to his work and outlines how he will meet and exceed code requirements. Quote/Estimate for cost. He is reasonable with his pricing and will break the job into parts such that the customer does not have to pay upfront for the whole project. He would complete a block of the job and then collect payment after that block is completed. Quality of materials used/work performed. He is very particular about the quality of materials he uses and he informs his customer about the advantages/disadvantages But ultimately will let the customer decide. His work is almost artistic since he is very exact about how he builds things. Overall: I had the best experience a person could have with a contractor - especially when they single handily performed all the serviced required for the job. He built everything to code and exceeded requirements in some areas. (e.g., electrical, plumbing, Drywall, Concrete). Once he begins work he maintains momentum, keeps the work area clean, and has been a person that's reliable with excellent work ethics. I wish the industry worked as he does.

Ended up replacing the whole roof, some spots being soft, and also the roof had three layers of shingles where my Dad had previously tried to do it himself. I asked Bobby if he installs doors--he said yes He gave me a price which was $1500 He wanted $750 up front which i gave him (big mistake) He never did give me a date or time he would start I called him-- set a date still thinking positive He arrived with two other workers They removed the doors Bobby took them and never came back the guy s were working and I assumed it was going well By the way they arrived at 12 noon Dereck appeared to be the head worker he was telling they were going to Hueston woods for bobbys daughters bday Anyway they were getting ready to leave around 2:30 - 3:30 I had forgotten to get door handles which Lowes isn't far But they were leaving they didnt clean up They took one of the screen doors to the garage That was very disturbing for me I was going to install door handles Anyway Dereck came back the next day He got to working around 9:30 I just assumed it was going well But at around 10:40 he said he had to meet his wife and then was going to Lowes for supplies he would be back in 20 min it turned into an hour and ahalf During that time i started looking at the work It was not good!!!! It became very clear that he was not a door installer Nothing lined up right And Bobby still has not come by to see how it was going Eventually i told Derek he could go Derek is a nice guy but i dont think he had much experience installing doors I had read earlier today that he Warranties his work and guarantees it and the customer satisfaction is the most important part of his company He might say that but he has shown NO customer service to me He charged me 1500 dollars for about 5 hours work and very poor work
