Fresh, simple and modern are the three words I would use to classify this restaurant. You can tell they use as many local ingredients as possible, using fresh vegetables, quinoa, fruit and seafood.
Much like their cafe (directly above them), Gabriela Restaurant has a modern, industrial feel which makes them blend into the fixtures in the architectural beauty of the GAM.
This is a great place to lunch after visiting the GAM's exhibitions, as they offer many of Chile's typical dishes. I recommend the pastel de jaiba (a large corn, cheese and crab "pie") ($6.000) or if it is a cold day try the cazuela (typical chilean stew with beef) ($4.950) or the caldillo de congrio (crab stew) ($6.900) ....mmm just writing about these make me want to go back! read more
