Antonella is the leader of the team. She is a very skilled Esthetician and has been at it for a long time, on top of that she is a sweetheart. The price is just right and they use high quality equipment and products. So far I have not had any complaints about the place but I have been told that I am ever dissatisfied with anything, they will make it right. Clearly it is because: 1) you had a different nail technician than I did and 2) you speak Spanish. I arrived at noon and I didn't leave until 1:45 pm for a simple gel manicure. Granted it took time to soak off what I already had on so we probably started closer to 12:30, but still... hot damn! The woman who did my nails (didn't catch her name, she sat at the first table in the front) seemed either inexperienced or language was too much of a barrier for her, even though the customers were helping to translate. Yes, that's right, not even one of the employees spoke good enough English to assist with the situation. I'm sure that I was making her nervous watching every move like a hawk, because if I didn't say something, one hand would have been left unfiled. She tried to argue with me that she had, in fact, filed them, when they were (and still are, actually) uneven AF. Beyond that, I asked her to cut my nails, which was of course translated by the nearby customers, and she takes out... (OMG THE HORROR IN RELIVING THIS CHAIN OF EVENTS)... a small scissors. WHAT??? You are actually going to cut my nails with a scissors? I asked if she had clippers, I'm certain she didn't understand me, I'm clearly at this point shocked and dismayed, but she insists. I felt like I was in a cosmetology slasher movie. As she started painting on the color, my beloved pale pink Hello Kitty which I've gotten a million times other places and it's always looked amazing, we both noticed the "streakyness" and I made a sour face, and she had the never to (in her broken English) blame it on the color. I can't. I think she started to try to suggest starting over which is not an option in any way shape or form because a) she doesn't know what the hell she is doing and it won't matter what color it is and b) I simply don't have time. So I told her the latter and she started to pick up the pace a bit. At the end she asked me if I liked it and I said it was just alright. She didn't offer a hand massage or put lotion at the end. She probably saw the "please just get me the F outta here" plea in my eyes. Since the place looked super cheap on the inside... 100% no frills, five manicure stations cramped on one side that you literally had to play tetris to wheel around the desks and chairs to walk... I assumed that this would at least be cheaper than what I'm used to spending. But no! The worst part is the $30 I still had to spend when I'm probably going to have it all taken off tomorrow. If there were any degree of customer service here I would have complained and allowed them to make things right with me, but since no one spoke English and I had already invested almost two hours of my life at this place I decided to just cough it up and give her a $5 tip. I've literally never given less than a 20% tip before today. I also hate leaving 1 star reviews but in this case it was just warranted. I'm sure some of the other technicians there do a much better job, I was eyeing the others with envy when mine started looking like crapola. Looks like the search continues...

It all started with a Groupon and haven't gone to another place. They have a wide selection of lash technicians so unlike smaller locations or going to an independent person, if your lash technician isn't available, you can see someone else and you don't need to have your extensions removed and redone all over like when you change places, they usually won't do your extensions over someone else's work. They have a great package deal - if you pay for 5 refills upfront, it's $200 - you're welcome ;) They backup their work so if you notice a huge loss in lashes within the first few days, they will let you come back immediately to fix them. They have a forever client over here and highly recommend this place especially if you are looking for affordable lash extensions.
