My regular PCP moved to the ER and I was assigned a new PCP through Multicare. However, when I needed to be seen for a physical, I was told that I would have to wait 6 weeks for the first appointment just to meet my newly assigned PCP to establish care... and of course, a copay was expected for that visit. Dr Rietze accepts text messages and phone calls and responds within a day, offering a visit within the next few days, if necessary, but never more than a couple weeks out if non-urgent. She takes her time with me and truly cares about my health... and I'm saving so much money, even on top of insurance premiums! I highly recommend Lilac DPC - this alternative has restored my faith in healthcare.

I've been trying to renew my long-standing prescriptions for high blood pressure and depression--medications that are essential for my well-being. Despite explaining my circumstances, the office refused to refill them. I understand policies and procedures, but this felt cold and irresponsible, especially given the critical nature of the medications. I followed their recommendation to contact the CHAS clinic, but the first available appointment isn't until the end of June. I was then transferred to the hospital's follow-up department, but they were unable to help. At this point, my only remaining option seems to be urgent care, just to access the medications I've been stable on for years. I'm deeply disappointed by how this was handled.
