This office is not only corrupt, they are ethically challenged. I went in for a standard cleaning. My previous dentist had noted a few stains and areas to watch, but no cavities. This office told me I had a whopping 16 cavities. The estimate was many thousands of dollars. I went to a third dentist for a second opinion, and they gave me the same result as my original dentist: a few stains, maybe a few spots to watch, but no cavities. They were flabbergasted and appalled by the opinion of this office. Furthermore, the office failed properly assess my insurance company with my provider, and undercharged me for the visit. They are now currently hounding me for the balance, despite not quoting it originally. They have made false accusations that the doctor went over this difference with me, which is a direct conflict with their own confusion regarding the insurance coverage. I am now preparing to engage in a legal dispute with this office. Avoid this provider at all costs. This is simply a money driven operation devoid of ethics and disinterested in patient care. I am absolutely disgusted by the behavior of this office and would strongly urge anyone to seek care elsewhere. read more

My first time there was a very good experience. I rate an office based on the customer service starting at the front desk. I found that the front desk is very pleasant, attentive and professional. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Duaa for a cleaning and her assistant LaLa. Dr. Duaa has a very soft spoken voice, but it's pleasant and friendly. I Iike that she has a sense of humor too. LaLa as her assistant is on point, pleasant, professional and friendly. You can tell she loves what she does. I noticed that the two of them work very well together. I came as a new patient and from my experience dental offices gives you the best impression on your first visit but I just didn't get that vibes at the reception. I had papers to fill out which I understand as reason not putting me in the room, once there the lady did the X-ray procedures then told me the hygienist will come to clean my teeth. After a long wait she came and did what she had to do which was just check my gums, scale (did she really?) and brush my teeth. Whatever she did didn't make my teeth feel clean at all when I walked out of there. I'm totally disappointed and will not go back there. If only I could ask to refund my insurance I certainly would. read more

I have been coming to Gainesville Dental Arts for over 4 years I get great care every time I go there for an appointment. I have almost completed a full treatment of Invisalign and it is working out great. I would like to repeat what I have stated in other reviews "This has to be the best dentist I have ever been to. The staff is great and worked with me and scheduled times convenient for me. I will not go anywhere else. If you do not come here, start now." Got a flyer that said free cleaning. Decided to go and get the free cleaning. They said my mouth didn't quality for free cleaning but will need a special cleaning for the regular price. I was already in the chair and stuff. Plus, I was scared to say no after going through the whole process of getting set-up. I think this is a tactic they use. I think they might've lied about it and used the free cleaning flyer to get people in. After that, they told me there were a million things I had to get done to fix my teeth. They also pushed me to buy teeth cleaning and whitening from them. And special electric toothbrush. I ended up going to another dentist far away that was recommended. The dentist said my teeth were fine and didn't need all the stuff this dentist said I needed. read more

Now I love coming to the dentist. Never going back. Front customer service super rude for a nice area. I was disgusted from the beginning. Cleaning means brushing teeth. They charged my insurance $840 for my sons cleaning. Its ridiculous. I made the appointment for myself, of course I get there on time, they made us wait forever finally they are about to work on me and they said my insurance didn't work with them. I visited Gainesville Dental Arts for the first time for a broken crown replacement, check up and then a follow up cleaning. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had with a dentist. I've had horrible experiences with dentists in the past, with nausea and pain and complications from high blood pressure but these visits were a breeze - as close to enjoyable as it can be visiting the dentist! Priscilla made me very comfortable and Apneet took great and gentle care during my cleaning. Dr. Kaur was amazing and put me at ease for all of the procedures. This is by far the best dentist in Gainesville/Haymarket! The staff is amazing, thorough and provide excellent patient care. My x-rays and cleaning were the best I have had ever in my life, and I have been to a lot of dentists over my life time. The hygienists and Doctor are very kind, explain everything in detail and the practice has the most up to date technology and care. I was very impressed with everything about my visit. This is the most unprofessional dental office that I've ever been to. If you're looking to spend money then go here. From the start of the visit all they wanted was to scam money out of me. From make believe cavities to $125 dollar toothbrushes this office did it all. The dentist herself was very kind but the staff was just there to sell. They did a painful cleaning that I did not even ask for, and later tried to charge me for it. As I'm walking out the door I'm handed a mouthwash that was given to me as a gift.... before I left I was told it was 30 bucks. Haha 30 DOLLARS?! For a mouth wash. Save your money and time and go to another office that actually cares about you and not only scamming money. read more

I was able to get in as an emergency appointment as I had an abscess causing me excruciating pain. I appreciated this considering the circumstances. As a healthcare worker myself, I was displeased by the dr who performed my procedure. The assistant and front desk staff were very friendly and comforting EVEN THOUGH my appointment occurred after hours. The doctor however seemed displeased that he needed to be bothered with another appointment on this day. I prefaced this procedure with expressing my anxiety surrounding dentists to everyone seeing me and the dr did not seem to care. During my procedure I was told that if I cried (mind you there was a mouthpiece keeping my mouth open and my face was so swollen I could not breathe through my nose) I would be spreading my germs to them and not to be audible unless I was in pain. (I was numbed but still have feeling obviously.) This is hard to do for someone who has severe anxiety surrounding dentists. I was instructed not to cry because I was numbed. My provider had a thick accent and told me to close my mouth at one point and when I didn't because I couldn't understand him he proceeded to stomp his feet and place his fists by his legs and look at his assistant and she kindly told me to close my mouth. When the procedure was over he implied that I needed stitches which at this point I showed hesitance. He then decided that he was done with me and said nevermind. He left the room and came back to ask me how it went and I said horribly. NOT due to his work but due to the fact that I do not do well in dentist offices and was not given the comfort that I show to my patients when they are experiencing fear. My problem is resolved which I am grateful for. However, I will not be returning to this office for any sort of dental work and I encourage you to shop around before you buy. As someone uninsured in this time I would recommend as their prices are lower than most oral surgeons but if you are looking for good bedside manner this is not your dentist. read more

Wonderful staff. Dr. Kaur is amazing and gentle and gives you exactly what you need. I had to have some teeth pulled and she suggested a bridge and it's been great. my mom needed new dentures so she went to Dr. Kaur and she loves her. Got new dentures and they are perfect. My mom said she had no problems adjusting to them. You can't go wrong with Dr. Kaur. I won't ever change dentists unless she retires!!!! read more
