There is a cafe area which sells food such as fish and chips, burgers or jacket potatoes which are great value for money. There is a slot machine area too if you don't want to play bingo or fancy your luck after the games have finished. The staff are really helpful especially if you are not sure what books to buy if you are new to the Bingo game. I joined a few years ago and it was £1 to join then and you recieve a membership card in the post. The prices are great and there are loads of bingo games, with prices from around £10 to hundreds of thousands. It makes a great change to the usual night out and is full of people of all ages, male and female, a real mix, so never think that Bingo is for old people because it's not. You will be pleasantly surprised at how much fun a night out here can be even if you don't win!

There is parking behind Coxeters, although this is for a charge if the man is there collecting the money. If he isnt there you can park for free! It is also free in the evening. The snooker club is only accessible by walking up a flight of stairs, so could be a bit tricky if you are in a wheelchair etc. Although there may possibly be a lift due to new equality legislation, I havnt noticed one though! There are quite a few snooker/pool tables which are well lit, and a bar which serves all the usual drinks. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed.

We went early evening so there weren't many other people there but even taking this into accout (I don't mind empty restaurants) we got the feeling that not all was well. I will probably give it another go as at other times it may be perfectly comfortable. Recommended.

Noting that my wife is American, and more interested in Milton than myself, he was able to speak at length about Milton's contribution to the philosophy behind the founding of the American constitution. There are a lot of rare, and probably priceless books, and artifacts in the museum, although I was more interested in the layout of the building, wondering if it had been like that for 400 years or if any re-construction work had gone on.

The club is also available for hire at a reasonable price and with a bar included. The hall is nothing special, pretty much a standard hall with tables and chairs that can be set out, but if the lights are turned down and a DJ is hired there have been some quite good nights had in there. There used to be an older football club on the site but it was burnt down in some sort of 'mysterious' accident. Probably for the best, as it essentially doubled as an underage nightclub!
