As you can see from the pictures I've added this is a very picturesque and authentic station. We went in Summer so the weather was great and the station was fairly busy. You can stand on a nearby footbridge and watch the steam train come in and get a smell of smoke and steam as it passes underneath. This is the first "real" train I've seen in action and it was very impressive. I didn't travel on the itself but the prices were reasonable. Instead I bough a couple of platform tickets so we could have a look around. I don;t know if it's been used in any films but it certainly could be. It's getting more family orientated now with lots of workshops and creativity going on amongst the ale and cider stomping. I went to the Keighley Picture house for the 1st time last week. It wasn't too bad, reminded me of…read morethe old Unit 4 cinema in shipley that closed down years ago. Screen is incredably small compared to the ones in bradford and leeds so I wouldn't go and see a blockbuster there but it's fine for seeing a comedy or kids flick. Also the entry price is so much cheaper than the multiplex's and parking is free if you go to the BaltiChef carpark after 6pm. The 'interval' between adverts and actual film was cute, a chance to buy a choc ice!
