I needed to replace my kitchen countertop. Did a search for kitchen remodeling and found Galant. I was feeling a little awkward visiting a business that does complete kitchen remodeling when all I needed was a new countertop. However, I got a good feeling as soon as I entered and was greeted by Rich, the owner. I explained that I just wanted a quartz countertop and my backsplash replaced. I didn't mention anything about a budget, and I was pleased that he didn't try to steer me to the more expensive products and then try to work down from there. We set up an appointment for him to take rough measurements to get a cost estimate, which was less than I expected based on another estimate I received in which the first thing the salesperson did was try to upsell me. I decided to go ahead with the project. A few days later, the final measurements were taken. We set up an appointment for and had the old countertop and backsplash removed. His crew was on time and did a good removal job and cleanup. Rich told me that I would get the new countertop and the backsplash would be installed within 10 days. Seven days later they were installed, very professionally and clean. One concern I had was that there had to be a seam because of the size of the countertop and I thought it would be visible. To my surprise, the seam was undetectable. They did the plumbing work and everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend that Galant be considered when doing a kitchen remodel. read more

Worse customer service!!!! I went into the store to inquire about the service they offer, and the representative/associate was rude and disrespectful. I asked one question about a cabinet design, he told me that he doesn't offer this type of service, sent me out, and turned away. I was shocked! I'm not sure if he was racist, or if I looked like I couldn't afford a kitchen remodel, or if he simply didn't want to be there. When it was time to renovate our kitchen after 20 years of living in this home, we started shopping around for designers/contractors. The contractors that we met with initially were either too expensive, or did not seem to interested in the job. We found Galant through Facebook and they had good ratings and for the most part good reviews. We met with Richard at our home and he had some different ideas on how to redesign the kitchen. Specifically he wanted to move the stove to the other side of the kitchen. I wasn't crazy about the suggestion at first but my wife and I decided to meet with him in his showroom and review the 3D designs he put together. He did a great job reviewing his design and finally convinced us. After picking out all of the materials and negotiating a price we signed the contract and hoped for the best. We were not disappointed, Rich did a great job explaining the whole process and was very responsive to any concern that came up. His contractor Sandro was excellent. Sandro and his crew were very professional and attentive to any concerns we had. Sandro was a pleasure to work with. The electricians where also a pleasure to work with. They did a great job rewiring the kitchen and adding new lighting. We are so happy with our new kitchen and going with Galant was great decision. We love our new kitchen rich came in our house for an estimate he was a real pro with real answers to all our questions he removed a wall between my kitchen and dining room and what a difference it makes.i can actually finally enjoy cooking in my kitchen. I want to update this review. This is what happened when I called the cabinet company Eudora /Kith to speak with them about 2 damaged cabinets. I was told to deal with kitchen place. I explained we had a falling out with Rich over the job. They told me I had to deal with Rich. I reached out to Rich and his response was " if I remove the Yelp review he would be happy to order a new cabinet door even though they are not under warranty "! Really ??? These cabinets are under warranty for 5 years as per manufacturer. So be careful if you decide to use Galant . If you have a problem you are out of luck. The manufacturer can not help you. I find this unbelievable . Your warranty is useless. If I was not told to remove my review and was properly treated and satisfied I would have updated this review with a different outlook. read more

WOW! That's what everyone says when they see my kitchen! And after almost 10 years I can honestly say I am as happy with them today as I was 10 years ago. If I could give him 10 STARS, o would! Richie was not only patient...(WE) worked and changed the design several times, but he was filled with design ideas etc. I wanted the "perfect" kitchen and he helped me and worked with me until I was positive on the design and cabinets. He was so thorough on the whole job and even my plumber and electrician commented on how well the "kitchen guy" laid everything out for them. They were quite happy and very impressed. I really can't say enough about how happy I am with Richie & how beautiful my kitchen came out. His prices were so reasonable I would never have been able to do all that we did (all the bells and whistles) with another kitchen designer. I love love love my kitchen and all of my cabinets. WARNING BUYER BEWARE : After becoming aware of Galant Kitchens on Facebook and viewing the photos in their website we decided to visit the showroom on deer park ave in Deer Park n.y. We meet with Rich the owner who sold us our ideal dream kitchen. Before construction ever began there were issues Our cabinets arrived late ,behind schedule .then upon arrival we noticed damage and not only that . The doors to the cabinets were of various shades that did not match. My wife pointed out that the quality of the cabinets we received in terms of finish were not of the same quality as the ones shown to us in the showroom .So we decide to call rich the owner .Who was unreachable for days on end .When we did make contact with him ,we now find him to be rude arrogant and unprofessional. It appears that once our check had clearded he lost all interest in us and our project .A far cry from the person who sold us our kitchen. At this point we are now behind schedule by 6 wks. On the first day of construction upon my arrival at my residence I notice that the Galant subcontractors responsible for our installation are unkept disheveled and reek of alcohol! Okay no big deal, so maybe they had a few cold ones during lunch. Then on day two I notice that the tile installed had been cut and installed haphazardly. Our frustration is mounting These materials cost us thousands of dollars and our dream kitchen was being botched right before our eyes. It was at this point that we couldn't take it anymore and decided to halt construction. We had to have other contractors come in to complete our project. As a long Island homeowner who has dealt with various contracting company's through out the years and I've dealt with many .My experience with Galant kitchens rates as my worst. For these reasons they deserve - 0 - Zero Stars. would not use again. would never recommended . Website / showroom will mislead .Avoid at all cost read more
