The spice drawer design is especially frustrating--only two drawers are actually usable, and the first one is basically useless because you can barely put anything inside without preventing it from closing. It shut down on Thanksgiving Day while I was preparing dinner for 12 people in our newly renovated kitchen. GE Bodewell "repaired" FOUR times. Within minutes of the repair tech leaving our house EVERY TIME the bottom oven beeped, showed faults, smelled awful and shut down. I spent literally hours trying to speak to an actual person at GE. I finally spoke to someone who promised that the situation would be escalated and my request for a SAFE replacement would be "considered ". They eventually refused to do more than send another technician. I didn't have an oven for Christmas dinner, either. Appliance World did NOT HAVE to help in any capacity other than to contact GE. BUT THEY DID!!! They replaced, delivered and installed my new range this morning--all at their own expense. We've been loyal Appliance World customers for years, and will continue to go to them for our next appliance purchase. THANK YOU!! I want to add that we received frequent updates concerning delivery and installation times and Oscar and his crew were extremely efficient, helpful and professional. They were careful and respectful of our property and left the job impeccably clean and neat.

I needed to replace my kitchen countertop. Did a search for kitchen remodeling and found Galant…read more I was feeling a little awkward visiting a business that does complete kitchen remodeling when all I needed was a new countertop. However, I got a good feeling as soon as I entered and was greeted by Rich, the owner. I explained that I just wanted a quartz countertop and my backsplash replaced. I didn't mention anything about a budget, and I was pleased that he didn't try to steer me to the more expensive products and then try to work down from there. We set up an appointment for him to take rough measurements to get a cost estimate, which was less than I expected based on another estimate I received in which the first thing the salesperson did was try to upsell me. I decided to go ahead with the project. A few days later, the final measurements were taken. We set up an appointment for and had the old countertop and backsplash removed. His crew was on time and did a good removal job and cleanup. Rich told me that I would get the new countertop and the backsplash would be installed within 10 days. Seven days later they were installed, very professionally and clean. One concern I had was that there had to be a seam because of the size of the countertop and I thought it would be visible. To my surprise, the seam was undetectable. They did the plumbing work and everything worked perfectly. I would highly recommend that Galant be considered when doing a kitchen remodel.

There was a bit of confusion when it came to a few bathroom fixture returns and changes. Given they had a new computer system two days earlier AND a system shut down at some point that day. They both kept a level head and Marissa sorted out all of the paper work. And John was then able to quickly pull the items for pick up. A series of unfortunate events could have led to a disastrous experience, but they both kept it light and it actually turned out to be a laughable morning. I highly recommend this company.
