Went here for a community event. Before coming I was weary based off of concerning yelp reviews. While an uncomfortable greeting from the blue american flag hanging near the entrance the overall experience was fine! The girl running the place was kind and helpful. The skating rink itself isn't too great, you have to step up onto the rink making it difficult for beginner skaters. But fun lights and good selection of concessions. read more

Some of these reviews are not representative of this place at all. The rink is concrete and kept real clean. Would be nice if it were rounded and a little larger, but overall well kept (never dusty or slippery). Concessions are cheap and staff is cool. Adults have to sign an injury waiver. It was originally owned by a police officer and was taken over by his daughter, who I believe is married to an officer as well, so safety is prioritized. They have a metal detector at the door to prevent people from bringing in weapons and vapes and the dress code prohibits saggy pants and sideways hats. If you don't dress like a thug you won't have issues. The door stays locked and they don't allow excessive trips in and out during the skate session. So kid's can't get dropped off then bail. Though adults are allowed a couple trips in/out. Foul language can get you put out and they keep the tunes clean in regards to cursing. Potty mouth kids can be found, but they do try. It's owned and operated by a biracial group of folks, so in no way will you here the owners throwing the n word around, as suggested in one of the reviews. And the parking lot is a bit tight on space, but super clean, contrary to another review. Not a lot of trouble here. The culture of the rink varies from night to night, but in general, the fast lane is to the outside of the rink and slower skaters should keep more to the inside. Common roller rink etiquette.. this place was absolutely horrific. the staff was incredibly rude and outright disrespectful. the building itself is utterly disgusting, and the parking lot smelled like rotting corpses. i was dress coded right when i walked in, in front of everybody, which was humiliating. the dress code was not even mentioned on the website when you get on the rink, idiotic staff yell at you and speeding skaters almost push you down. if i could, i would give this place 0/5 stars. sexist dresscode also... read more

Terrible!! As soon as we walked in, not only did we get dress coded by a rude older woman, but yelled at by MULTIPLE staff members for being to the side of the rink. Not to mention: UNSAFE!! People flying by, almost hit me and grab onto you for support. If you're looking for fun,, this is not the place. read more

This was by far the worst roller rink I've ever been to. As soon as you walk in you're greeted by people wearing "let's go Brandon FJB" shirts. They also weren't sanitizing the skates after each use. They just threw them back on the rack after someone returned them. The people working there didn't enforce rules on the rink, making it very hard to enjoy skating. Kids were going in opposite directions, taking skates off and running around in their socks on the rink. It's overall very unkept, dirty, and obviously the owner doesn't tKe Covid seriously. My husband and I went there to learn how to roller skate. It was a great experience. No judgement at all. The owner Amy made us very comfortable and teaches well. She is very patient and kind. We really enjoyed our session. The price for the lesson is unbeatable! We are definitely returning there... read more

Family night at the galaxy is a must. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I grew up in a skating rink and since I've been back I haven't been able to find a rink to call home. Galaxy will be home from here on out. read more

The male elderly owner is horrible! I would not recommend that anyone spend money at this establishment. My son and his friends have been coming here for a couple years. They look forward to going skating every week. This week, when I stopped to pick them up, they said the owner kicked them out and trespassed them and they didnt know what they did. They were very upset. I told them I would talk to him and try to figure things out. Well, all he did was scream and curse at me and tell me he didn't have to have a reason to kick them out. I explained that they are really good kids and they look forward to skating every week. He again screamed at me, told me to get off his property, and he was calling the police. WOW. read more

10/10 would NOT recommend. Today I went with some friends and we were in the beginner section because all of us weren't really stable on skates then I'm guessing he was the co owner rudely addressed we couldn't be there if we weren't beginners all though we weren't beginners but when other older kids went over there he didn't have a thing to say and I thought that space was for any one to practice. The lady at the snack bar has no sense of customer service or manners. She won't even interact with you to ask what you want to buy. They are very messy the carpet is very dangerous for a skater like me bumps and tape everywhere not a good look for your business. I don't have a problem with the games like tag, limbo, etc. but they only let 16+ go on for a period of time but the 16+ can mix with 15- and that's not fair because 16+ are VERY GOOD SKATERS. Me and my friends can't enjoy because of the constant fear of being ran over and yes I know that's the point of skating but I think they should let the younger kids have a time where they can just skate together. WAY TOO MANY kids working there. And this all happens within 2 hours. NOT TO MENTION NO ONE WEARS MASK EVEN THE STAFF NOR ARE YOU REQUIRED TO. And no social distancing read more

A nice small town roller rink. Parking is limited. They offer great birthday packages. I had my daughters private party birthday here.
