The field is amazing. There is always something new. And not new like a few new bunkers, but new like "oh, we built a pirate ship on the lake". Other features include a three story castle, western fort, ghost town, pirate ship, and a massive bridge. The place is always filled with great players and so far the refs have kept the "douche-baggery" to a minimum during the big games. They say it is a player's field and I think they mean it. I feel like the paint prices are fantastic considering that other fields stick you for $60-$100 a case during big games. Even if you have to make a drive, give this place a try. It is a great paintball park, over 7 fields from ship wrecks to Western towns and a beautiful man-made bridge. Bring your own paint or reasonably priced paint there. Their Valken Graffiti was $60 (same price as ANS) and fresh. They also have a nice staging area 4-5 covered picnic areas lots of room for parking. Dave and his son run the place and you can tell he just wants to create an environment for families and friends to have a good time. His ref are well educated and staff is very friendly. They even cooked for us, hot dogs and hamburgers, during the long weekend. I will continue to plan a few trips out there a year. Worth the drive. PS they are on Eastern Time!

One, a young blonde 17-year-old (at the time) who was reffing for paintball would not stop badmouthing the airsoft players, and it went far beyond teasing. He also made fun of me for having never tried Twisted Tea (he's 17 mind you), which another ref was handing out to friends at lunch. Overall, the staff experience was bottom of the barrel, other than the people working the food station, who were nice. The field needs better refs and better organization. If it had these things, it would truly be a great place to play.

First off Virgil the Owner I assume, was very pleasant and accommodating he allowed us to arrive early on Thursday night and set up camp. However, on Friday night there were supposed to be meetings for game play like medics and engineers. we were never informed by the host of the event (COBRA) of the times this was supposed to take place. We inquired for times and none were given, come to find out later they did them during the night game Friday night. The game play was horrible. For a game with rules and expected to be played with honor and fair play, According to Tweeny Cobras CO. their is no fairness in WAR....(Uhm this isn't war its a game) not to mention Cobra players handing supplies to the field from safe zones under the safety netting. (Where are the Ref's Oh there they are at the fence talking to non playing friends not playing attention to the game. another ref was sitting in a lawn chair only watching directly in front of him all weekend. I also watched a player pull the pin on a grenade in a safe zone near the main gate and throw it over the safety netting into play!!!! (Where's the ref??? no where to be seen) the player also admitted it to the refs after being called out for it and guess what? the player got a slap on the wrist for it. HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED OUT of the event period go home no refund. And yes I am the one that reported it to the cashier (Tyler I believe, who sat in the safe area for about 10 min. with myself and ended up calling a ref on the radio to find out where he was to intervene he also drilled the ref on the rules. Tyler you are Awesome Thanks for your assistance !!!) or how about three players mag dumping a player after throwing a grenade that actually hit my Son not the player that got mag dumped for not calling the hit that never hit him, he was about 30 ft from the grenade when it went off, a physical altercation that is unacceptable and should have resulted in being ejected form the game and sent home. Or when you make a complaint about game play or not calling hits or players over shooting you are told to suck it up. (No rps limits for miniguns guess how that went) and they never checked rps on any of the lmg's. player cards not punched for safety checks. But they did chrono all pistols (first time ever lol) Drunk players during Saturday night's game. Including Cobras Co. who after the game tried (While intoxicated) telling us we were all wrong about everything as far as game play / rules. Took the whole extended family for a private game at this facility while vacationing in South…read moreHaven, MI. 14 people (boys and girls) in all, ranging in age from 13 to 40+. Met with the owner Glenn at the site on a Wednesday (he opened up just for us!) and we played for almost 3 hours and had a ball (and a few welts too) ! If you are looking for a family activity that is fun, active and unique - give a Glenn a call. Nice guy, great facility and a cool memory from our vacation. We'd definitely do this again

A group of us went there as a birthday gift. After the first couple games it was clear the…read moreregulars/pro's/ref's friends were killing us badly every game. Our group all used the rental guns. The ref insisted it was because how much money the regulars spent on their barrels/guns/equipment but they were hitting us from far away and our rental guns would not even come close to reaching them. They swore everyone including the rental guns were all shooting at 250 to 285 fps. Turned out that was a lie, all of the rental guns in our birthday group could barely fire at 220 fps. I insisted they test a regulars gun and he was shooting 310 fps, since 285 fps was the speed limit for the field this was blatant cheating. The ref tried to cover it up with excuses but it was obvious they were just using us noobs as target practice for their own entertainment with no interest in making it fair for us.

I met the owner (Matt) tonight when i went to play paintball for the first time in my life. I knew…read morenothing, and even missed when he went over the rules. I rented a gun, borrowed a mask and split a box of paint balls with a friend who is a regular. I started talking with Matt and asking him about his business, and how other business like his work. He shared easily, and explained that he has been doing this for 13 years! He used to get worried when people would start asking questions, but now knows that there is no need to worry about such things. He took care of explaining everything, and only had 3 simple rules. He builds his business on service, and did a fantastic job of making me feel special and valued. I WILL buy a paint ball gun from this business, and already totally trust his advice. One impressed customer signing off.
