I wish 0 stars were an option but sadly I have to do 1. This school will never get better no matter how hard anyone tries, the principal right now (Callie Bauer) is the most un-caring and selfish person I have ever met. The amount of bullying that goes on in and out of that school is insane. I am a 15 year old girl who went threw massive amounts of bullying at the ages of 8-12 because this school will not teach the importance of not judging other people based of looks or because there "different" than them. The teachers and Subs are no better. this week a sub told my friend that he needs to get over his brothers death and that ADHD is not real. They do not care for there teachers spreading misinformation and being actually rude to students. The curriculum is actually shit, most of those teachers leave things out on purpose and don't teach to true meaning of things, That and half of those teachers actually punish those kids with schoolwork and forcing them to put stress on themselves. Oh and let's talk about there shitty "bathroom break passes" and TAKING THE BATHROOM AWAY FROM A WHOLE GENDER? They only get 5 bathroom breaks a WEEK? anyone in there right mind should know you need to go to the bathroom during school you are there for 8 hours and that is absolutely ridiculous. The principle locked the bathroom down (for a valid reason In the end) they were "vandalizing" the bathrooms. they got them taken 1 by 1 for the same things, and it was only valid in the end because a kid took a massive crap in the bathroom and put toilet paper over it so the janitor would grab it.. I still don't think that's a valid reason to take the bathrooms from ALL GRADES? Also they hire PEDOPHILES?! Mr plum. he was a soccer couch and he taught health. Messages were found on his phone of him texted a underage 16 year old girl from his soccer team. That's pretty nasty if you ask me. There was a sub that was found to have been messaging a 15 year old girl. (Not sure of his name but I'm sure you can find him he's heavyset and bald.) The hallways with no cameras in the middle school, high school and intermediate? all of those hallways kids get bullied in everyday. i was in 6th grade the first time I ever experienced physical bullying and the school did nothing about it but give a speech to "speak up". Callie before she was a principal was a teacher that helped kids in 6th grade, she suspended my friend for "calling her a sussy baka" when he wasn't even talking to her.. she was mean to almost any student who didn't listen to her or was a "bad student." Pleade before you think about sending your kids here listen to people that have already gone here, this school is the most dehumanizing experience I have EVER had. I really hope the school decides to make some better choices for the sake of them and there students but I don't see that happening anytime soon. read more

The school is not good it is dirty the mac & cheese attacked me once. There is a guy living in the ceiling of the boys bathroom we once had to do a lockdown drill because "the creature" got out again. One of the gym teachers was fired because he was texting students so now he sends robots into the school to spy on kids. If you truly love your kid don't send them to Galion City Schools. read more

I have been at this school for a while, they have accessible classes and have very accessible counceling which helps with quite a few issues. It's a great school! read more
