Relevant represents only two artists: fine art photographer David Yarrow and bronze sculptor Gib Singleton. They certainly have no need for additional representation. Both artists have worldwide reputations and are producing work of exceptional quality. Singleton describes his style as "Emotional Realism." His work includes both western themes plus biblical and devotional pieces. The sculptures range from abstract, to impressionistic, to more realistic and show a great depth of feeling. David Yarrow's photographs are one-of-a-kind. He began his career as a lauded sports photographer, but has turned his direction to fine art work including fashion, landscape, wildlife, and indigenous cultures. The gallery is showing huge, archival pigment prints of amazing quality. A number of them are staged, surrealistic western scenes featuring supermodels Cindy Crawford and Cara Delevingne. These are memorable as are the wildlife photographs which seem to capture almost impossible perspectives. Denver is very short of photography galleries these days. The chance to see so much of Yarrow's work in person should not be missed.

A new space recently became available just a couple of doors east of the previous location and Robert seized the opportunity to reopen in April 2025. The new gallery is a bit smaller than in the past, but an old and tired storefront has been thoroughly remodeled to provide a clean and elegant gallery space. There's a very nice mix of historic and contemporary photography plus a few non-photographic fine art pieces that have caught Robert's eye. He has excellent taste and the refreshed gallery is well worth a visit.

Parking is very difficult as most of the surrounding streets are marked, "No Parking." There is a lot for tenants behind the building which is marked, "Permit Only," but the gallery manager said it was OK to park there. The gallery is in the northeast corner of the building, facing Broadway. The space is long and narrow. A wall of glass overhead doors limits exhibition space, but provides lots of light. The gallery showcases work from the 250+ NoBo members plus work from established artists along the Front Range. The front lobby of the gallery contains the NoBo Artisan Gift Shop which shows original art, decorative objects, and gifts. The space is available to rent for commercial and private events.

Go through the south door of the 910 Arts building and up the south staircase by the coffee shop. You will find the gallery in Unit 10 at the top of the stairs. Alternatively, you can use the north door and/or north staircase to get upstairs, then take the walkway to the south side of the building. The gallery is small, but bright, with two windows facing west and a large entrance with light from a huge skylight over the stairwell. The inaugural show, "Points of View: Ideas in Conversation," presents complimentary, abstract work from 15 established artists, including Kelly. The 910 Arts building is full of artists' studios, other galleries, and a very nice coffee shop. Rolo Gallery is a great addition to the complex.

The also have an annex for maker space and events a few doors further west. Today they had a fundraiser and art display in honor and celebration of International Women's Day. When I saw the announcement that the Handweaver's Guild of Boulder would be in the Annex demonstrating the weaving process and set up for patrons of all ages but especially children to try it out, I knew I had to go. In my younger years, I had been a member of this Guild and had done a demonstration with a group of weavers at the Denver Stock Show in 1975. I was hoping to hear what the Guild is doing now and hopefully run into someone from that era that is still active. And indeed I did. It's amazing work they do and the Gallery in the main building displays weaving as well as so many other arts. Paintings, drawings, jewelry, pottery, fabric designs, handmade cards, all sorts of art objects are to be seen and purchased . It's a very nice space and was very well attended on this holiday on a beautiful spring day. But nice stop in to the gallery anytime and look into the programs they run in the Annex. It's easy to find and there is street parking in the area and a bus stop 2 blocks away. And eateries in the area too.
