But this place was open until 6 on Saturdays. I am soooo glad I visited. It has some very creative and amazing art all by local artists for purchase. There is some great talent in this city. . I definitely recommend and also suggest a couple of more unique shops on the same block.

We also had a pleasant conversation with the owner and one of her repeat customers, so it was a very enjoyable experience.

Small Gallery off the Grand Bohemian Lobby…read more This small, but interesting gallery is located directly off the lobby of the Grand Bohemian Mountain Brook, Alabama. The varied offerings stir emotions as you move from room to room and boast painting as well as three dimensional artwork. I love that you can wander and view at your own pace as you move through the gallery. The exhibits display local artists' work and cover a broad range of perspectives and styles. They rotate the displays to keep the viewing fresh for visitors. Very relaxing!

We had a few children running around/playing, but they assured us it was ok. The art work in the gallery was absolutely breathtaking and it seemed to fit the theme of the baby shower. They do have an upstairs full of artwork as well as seating. If you are hosting an event here they do have a kitchen and fridge you can use. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who's hosting a shower, wedding reception, birthday party or any event.
