Rude, rude, rude!…read more On Thursday, Aug 13, 2015 my family went to the gallery at their posted opening time of 10:00 AM to buy a bronze bear statue that we had seen and loved. An open sign showed on the door, but the door was locked. We knocked, and the youngish guy inside approached, looked at us with a flat expression through the closed glass door, and without saying a thing flipped the sign over to say "closed". He then walked over to his desk, right in front of us, and proceeded to work while ignoring our attempts through the glass to ask what time they'd actually open. Needless to say we lost interest in any of their art, but we thought others might want to know about our experience so they don't leave an otherwise nice town with a bad taste.

The performance, a local sketch comedy in it's second year, skewers the local scene. NO One is spared. A lot of insider jokes. But entertaining for out of town visitors. Crowd was decidedly local since it's the off season and decidedly appreciative. Especially appreciated was the $3 PBRa that you could take into the venue. Facility is home to various non profits and the local community college. Nice public facility.

This place has all the t-shirts and hats you need with "Jackson Hole" printed on them to let everyone know that you've been to Jackson, Wyoming. Be sure to check out the kids' section complete with a bear and stuffed moose! The language on the shirts is a bit colorful with the kids' section, but they've heard those words before, I'm sure. The prices on these goods seemed a bit high, considering that they're selling nothing terribly special, clothes made in China or Pakistan, screen printed with the local town name. They have a lot of forestry related fun stuff for kids, so it's not all just clothing. It's gifts too, magnets, postcards, bumper stickers. None of it is wildly valuable stuff, but lots of things from all over that have Wyoming printed on it. The shop is dog friendly! It's clean, with wide aisles, and was completely ADA accessible. Parking can be challenging, since this is right on the main square of town, and parking seems to be an issue.

This is the perfect small-town toy store which is decorated to feel like you are in the old west. There's a variety of different toys to look at for kids of all ages and from various places around the world. I also liked how interactive the whole store was as well. It's so important for kids to be able to touch and play with things and this was a great opportunity for them to do so. Staff were kind and friendly too. It's totally worth your time to check it out even if you don't have kids.
