I put the book on the counter and smiled at her. She never once said a word, never looked up from her computer screen and then suddenly glanced up and told me a price and immediately turned away. No greeting. I swiped my card and she slapped a bag on top of my book. That was it. Left with my beautiful book and a bad feeling.

Rude, rude, rude!…read more On Thursday, Aug 13, 2015 my family went to the gallery at their posted opening time of 10:00 AM to buy a bronze bear statue that we had seen and loved. An open sign showed on the door, but the door was locked. We knocked, and the youngish guy inside approached, looked at us with a flat expression through the closed glass door, and without saying a thing flipped the sign over to say "closed". He then walked over to his desk, right in front of us, and proceeded to work while ignoring our attempts through the glass to ask what time they'd actually open. Needless to say we lost interest in any of their art, but we thought others might want to know about our experience so they don't leave an otherwise nice town with a bad taste.

They have a nice collection of wildlife art with a focus on the American West along with other representations and very interesting graphics that speak to the history behind the works. A very similar thing happened to us where the owner came out and asked if we had any questions, we said we were just looking around and if we had any we would let her know. Now we weren't in expensive looking clothes, warm comfy ones cause it was snowing outside. After we said we were looking around she got smirky and started looking busy and said she had an exclusive buyer coming in a minute and we needed to head out. We left and went into another shop and no one even got close to try and go up her stairs. Do not go to this gallery.
