Rude, rude, rude!…read more On Thursday, Aug 13, 2015 my family went to the gallery at their posted opening time of 10:00 AM to buy a bronze bear statue that we had seen and loved. An open sign showed on the door, but the door was locked. We knocked, and the youngish guy inside approached, looked at us with a flat expression through the closed glass door, and without saying a thing flipped the sign over to say "closed". He then walked over to his desk, right in front of us, and proceeded to work while ignoring our attempts through the glass to ask what time they'd actually open. Needless to say we lost interest in any of their art, but we thought others might want to know about our experience so they don't leave an otherwise nice town with a bad taste.

Our cousin had her wedding here and she secured Sullivan Hall, which comfortably seats 100 or can accommodate up to 300 for standing. The space also features a beautiful terrace offering fantastic views -- a perfect backdrop for the celebration. Although it was winter and visibility driving here was limited, the journey to the museum was like stepping into a winter wonderland. Palate, the museum's in-house restaurant, provided delicious catering that added to the memorable experience. Overall, a breathtaking location with great amenities and charm. A very similar thing happened to us where the owner came out and asked if we had any questions, we said we were just looking around and if we had any we would let her know. Now we weren't in expensive looking clothes, warm comfy ones cause it was snowing outside. After we said we were looking around she got smirky and started looking busy and said she had an exclusive buyer coming in a minute and we needed to head out. We left and went into another shop and no one even got close to try and go up her stairs. Do not go to this gallery.
