I have been fortunate enough to train at many different gyms around the world. I have had the chance to train with some of the best in the game. I can attest that Ralph Garcia ranks in the category of being amongst the great coaches I have had the opportunity to share the Mat with. His ability to recognize minute details that could change ones game is on point. This is one of those gyms I feel could be one of the elite gyms given the right environment. However, this town is saturated with other competing gyms for the population. Being a Black belt, I tend to be a bit more critical when visiting another gym. If I feel the environment isn't a good fit, I may only visit once. This is absolutely not the case here. I was immediately welcomed as if I was family. This is exactly what I look for when searching out a temporary home away from home. Everyone I've met at this gym has been extremely welcoming. Ralph Garcia brings a wealth of quality knowledge to the mats. His ability to convey easily understandable instructions makes this a valuable school for beginners and advanced students. The facilities were well kept and the students showed a lot of respect and discipline both for the gym and for their fellow students and coaches. One of the biggest deciders in what is a good gym or not is not only the curriculum, but the people, and the folks here are top notch. They are absolutely worth checking out if you happen to be in the area!
