Cons: lacks newer machine for back, chest, & shoulders. having a beautiful mirror room that was probably the best part of this gym & is now only used my Zumba & employees after they finish their workout takes away so much from this gym because Trufit doesn't have it. Having this room now locked up I'd rather take my business right across the street to Trufit where they already do have it locked up. & yes I'd rather take my businesses to a gym that is messy, has dumbbells all over the place, & hardly ever has A/C but has way better machines & a whole lot more space. Not being open on Saturdays is the worst part about this gym & closing at 7 on Fridays when other gyms close much later. Ugly: for me, having a manager who wears skin tight tights to workout is so unprofessional & off setting. Someone that should set be the example & the standard for gym etiquette & dress code makes the gym such an awkward & unpleasant experience. This gym genuinely has so much potential to be a great gym but in the last 6 months since having this membership has genuinely made every month less & less enjoyable.

The class schedule on paper form does not reflect what is actually being done in class. There is a…read moreclass that is titled as Zumba, not Zumba Strong nor Zumba Toning; however, when you take the class you quickly find out it's not Zumba. It's more like (HIIT) High Intensity Interval training. When I brought my issue to the instructor she informed me that it was Zumba Strong. So I suggested that they inform the customers, like me who look at the schedule, drive to gym and gets a different class. The simplest thing to do would be to just change the class name on the schedule. So, the name has never changed it's still called Zumba and last week when I attended we spent almost the entire class doing kick boxing. The instructor gave the warm-up, then she stepped down and joined us and two other females got up center stage and gave us a class. I went along with it, thinking it would change up, but they continue with the kickboxing. I brought it up to the instructor again and she once again told me it was Zumba Strong. She thought I was a fool to believe this, maybe a few interjections, a few kick boxing moves, but an entire class. I think not. The instructor told me that if I had complaints to tell them upfront. I told her I would. I spoke to the district manager and he said, "he would speak to them about sticking to the schedule". I also mentioned to district manager, that one of the females that was doing the kick boxing got in my face and told me she was certified. That may very well be but her name and the other girls that are frequently teaching classes are not listed as the instructor. I also mentioned that these girls are focused on themselves and not the customers. They have a little clique of instructors for that class. So you could imagine they all didn't like my critique. So the following day, I went to the gym and nothing has changed. The class is still listed as Zumba and they have 3 to 4 instructors giving class. I will continue my membership only because there are three other Zumba instructors that are friendly and professional. I love their classes. Now, why just not adjust the name of the class on the schedule, stubborn maybe, or the instructor is not certified in Zumba Strong. I will not reveal the instructor's name, but there are cameras in the gym, I'm sure management is aware of what is going on and allowing it, well at least until someone gets hurt. MD

This place is middle of the road. Let's get into it…read more Parking: this place has probably the worst laid out parking lot I've seen in a very long time. Not near enough spaces for the shopping center it's in. Not their fault but man, the developers screwed them here. The layout: they have a huge HIIT area to the right as you walk in, a bunch of star cardio equipment that I'm going to circle back to, and plenty of power racks. The problem? It's so damn busy here. Getting a rack was a hassle, most benches were full. Machines are nautilus which... I'm kinda torn on. Better than matrix and hoist but barely. Now to the cardio machines. They have stair master rowers, that need maintenance. The chain was way too lax and really was a insufficient pull. Hate to say it but the matrix rowers are far superior. Never thought I'd say these words. Ever. The star cardio machines. Not a huge fan. The arch elliptical was awkward and hitchy. They tried to copy the precor and didn't work out so well. So overall; it's not a terrible gym. But it's far from a great one. Mainly due to how packed it was and the inconvenience of everything surrounding that. Syoy

I was always on the edge of trying it out for being so different, but all my preconceived notions on Orangetheory quickly disappeared when I came in for my first workout! From amazing Coaches and Staff to daily changing workouts, Orangetheory really had everything I was looking for in a gym (especially for someone who is lazy and clueless like me lol) I knew once I took that first class that I could see myself investing in such a different gym from the rest!

I loved working out at Gold's Gym, but then it changed. People are always hogging machines. They…read morewill place a backpack on it and walk off. Meanwhile, people who are there to work out can't because the machine is being saved. This kid was trying to kick my ass the other day, telling me he was going to call his dad to come kick my ass. I was like, "Dude, you are not using the machine !", "Yes. I am." ... It is the same thing all the time. People sit on a machine and zone out on TikTok, 30 to 40 minutes at a time, but Gold's Gym doesn't have a policy on that. They allow it, so we are done with Golds. I am sure they will be missing my $39.99 a month. :-) Well, more like $80 because my wife is leaving too. The adults in the room should speak up so Gold can set up a policy.

Staff is a very friendly and everyone seems to mind their own business. Gym is clean, but I can tell that it's difficult to maintain in the evenings (customers need to pick up after themselves).
