I have an 8 year old who wanted a party there. Basically for £15 a head you get 10 children maximum that take over the shop - they shut the shop for this two hour period and you get to play on all the playstations, wii, xbox, etc and then there is a fun football challenge at the end with a prize for the over all winner. You get sausage and chips or something similar from the chip shop next door and the kids love it. The man who owns the shop is lovely and the guys he has working there are really helpful. The kids had a great time and that is the main thing.

My old phone I brought in that they couldn't buy because there was a scratch on the back. Finally my watch which they could buy but gave the lowest rank due to a tiny chip on the bezel. The staff seemed arrogant and looked like they didn't want to be bothered. They try there very best to give you as little as possible for your product; even if it is practically new. Lastly for pre owned items a lot of the prices are too high to the point where you can spend not .ugh more for the product new. Overall a poor experience with Cex, this will be my first and last time using them.

They seem to do a good trade in second-hand consoles and some of the rarer, collectible stuff and sell lots of Japanese imports. If the shop isn't too busy, they'll happily plug in a game for you to try, or just let you have a go on whatever they've been playing when they didn't have customers. The owner has been trading games in Cambridge for as long as I can remember, must be 15 or 20 years now. Customer service is very good, if you do buy a second-hand game which doesn't work properly, they refund or replace with no fuss at all.

There are whole sepearate sections for all different types of consoles including, PS2, PSP, X BOX, Wii, PC and Nintendo DS. They sell the actual consoles themselves brand new and preowned, they aslo have package deals going on so you can buy it with some games too. There are always offers going on especially in the preowned section, normally 3 for £20, or 5 for £30 etc. The store itself is a little on the small side, just a bit to narrow and there always seems to be a large queue when I go in (just my luck I suppose).

Games are clearly organised by console and are usually sorted by title. However, the store is somewhat small and the queue to purchase games can get very long at weekends. Also, unlike the nearby branch of Gamestation, GAME does not stock retro games, except the odd Gamecube or Xbox title in the bargain bin. Therefore, I am reluctant to praise GAME too highly, giving it three out of a possible five stars.

My wife accidentally dropped her iPhone 7, smashing the screen. Went to Unique to get it replaced,…read morethis was done in about 30 minutes costing £75. We got the phone home then about 2 hours later it starts jittering and refusing to properly function. I took the phone back to Unique the following day and explained the situation, the response was that Apple added a code in to their iOS that effectively stops third party screens working properly with their phone and it has to be replaced with an official Apple digitiser. Why he didn't explain this BEFORE we got the screen repaired, I'm entirely sure. I then had a 30 minute conversation with the owner saying that he needed to fix what he'd done as he should have made us aware before taking our money, we had to have the broken screen fitted and the money was reluctantly handed back as if nothing happened. Apparently, he 'didn't need our crap money anyway' Despite this, the battery is now showing signs of wear - I'm about to give this man a second chance, will edit after it is fixed TL;DR - solution not found, rude owner. (Thus far)
