This place is nice and the employees are very friendly and helpful but if you're looking to buy trading card products, you have to go here on Fridays for the best chance at getting something. Fridays are their restock days and in my experience, going here any other day isn't worth it if you're looking for trading cards. You might get lucky and find something leftover on Saturdays but if you go here on Sundays you're picking through the bottom of the barrel. I imagine Tuesdays-Thursdays are the same. Even if you show up on a Friday like I did today, the store could get screwed over by their distributor and receive limited stock. Otherwise this place has a large selection of games, collectibles, and toys. They also have a cafe which I haven't tried yet. read more

The kids come here to trade cards, I come here to trade calories. The Poke Kids day was a huge success with giveaways and it's going to be monthly on Saturdays from 1-3pm until they staff up. This place is huge, about 3x the size of the original Game Vault and the kitchen is no exception. The owner is a trained Cordon Blue chef and the pastries and bread here are made in house.‍ Now that they have a bigger kitchen their menu expanded, they have amazing new items like this cheddar and broccoli soup bread bowl. It's perfect for this cold weather and I got the last one as they had to bake more. Come out and check out their new location. As usual we had a great experience at Game Vault! We ended up going 2 days in a row so I'll give a review of both days! October 7: we went in just to shop around and see what they have new. David was super helpful and actually showed us a new game that my gf and I would enjoy! We also picked up a Pride Uno game and a magnet! My husband discovered this store about a year ago. He has preordered Magic cards from here on numerous occasions and uses this location for cards and items he needs. The employees are very friendly and they are often busy...which is a great sign! The board game selection here is so fun. They have many great games you wouldn't find at a large chain store and they are very helpful in making suggestions for family games. I do not recommend this place. I'm not a confrontational person or a thief. I got kicked out after being followed around by an employee. Other blacks Americans I have spoken to have been kicked out for no reason. This employee claimed they were removing me because they didn't want me in the store? Gave me a bunch of nonsense reasons when I was minding my own business z I spoke to no one that particular visit but the employee. This was some time ago but I've heard the behavior hasn't changed. I've never really been a gamer. I would say I'm more of a gambler! Going to casinos and Vegas is my jam! Anyway...A good friend, who's also a foodie like myself, constantly raves about Game Vault's pizza and desserts. I decided to check them out the other day. I'm really glad I did because it's pretty nice. They have tons and tons of games, puzzles, Magic cards, toys and more for sale. They even have game tournaments. They were having one on the day I went. The employees were nice and friendly. I went kind of late in the evening. They were already out of the pizza my friend likes so I didn't get to try it. A few desserts were available when I went. I decided to get a large chocolate cupcake. It was delicious! The frosting was perfect and just the way I like it, fluffy and not too sweet. It was whipped cream rather than buttercream or fondant. The cupcake was moist and even had some caramel filling inside of it. That made the cupcake taste even better for me! Straight up perfection here! Me and my friend like the same kinds of food so I knew Game Vault was going to be a hit before trying it for myself. I will be back to try the pizza and other desserts sometime. I'll have to go earlier in the day next time. Sorry no pics this time! I'll save that for another time. Very professional The employees are very helpful & willing to stop what they are doing to help you out and give recommendations on what products are best for every player even going as far as recommending some deck builds for MTG. The used games section is a bit slim pickings but they carry everything from Sega Game Gear to the Nintendo's Switch. They also offer discounts for military personnel! read more

I really wish this place was closer to my side of town. I have been in the Games Workshop hobby for over 26 years now and this is one of the nicest shops I have been to over the years in my hobby. The place for board games and other geeky needs. They have board game afternoons 12-5pm on Sundays and Tuesday evenings. Mostly will be Magic players but a few other groups will be playing other games. We joined a group playing League of Legends and had a good time with the co-operative game. They have 100 different games to try out in the store , some simple, others very complex. Amazing variety and great for me and my husband to come try new games without committing to purchasing something you may end up hating. So, I always wanted to learn how to play the more elaborate board and card games, but unfortunately I didn't know anyone else who played, and more importantly would be willing to teach me. Then last year some Yelp peeps hosted a UYE game meet at Game Vault and I got an "excuse" to visit. Then I found out Game Vault has an active presence on local social media gaming groups, I was able to meet some new peeps and we learn new games together weekly. Game Vault has a ton of demo games and a big game room for us to play in. They also sell lots of games and gaming supplies, board, cards, and even video games; their selection is impressive and the folks who work there are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I love this place! But before I get into the reasons I have to give a shoutout to the El Paso single scene. Ladies, there are a lot of single guys here!! A Lot, and there is no girls here. They have tournaments for guys playing magic. So Just FYI. Maybe not a bad place cuz the odds are good 50 to 1. So. I love to have game nights! Get a couple of friends together. But sometimes, the typical Taboo and Guesstures can get a little old. Last night we played Codenames Pictures a lot of fun and very different from the typical game. That I bought here. They have a back room where you can play and try out the games. There were so many games that I have wondered if they were any and wanted to try. And so MANY more I have never ever seen, That you get to try out and play. The owners are super savvy and can recommend anything your heart desires. Tip: Don't try and read the directions to figure some of these games out just you tube how to play and type in game name. We had one game to which I can't remember the name but it was kinda like dominos with a sim city twist with castles, knights and farmers very fun. We read the directions and were so confused then someone else in our group. Had this ingenious idea then it all made sense. I was ready to give up. Bring your credit card and a couple of friends to figure out what games are gonna be our next game nights fun. read more
