The owner did not communicate or organize properly with the parents or their internal staff, caring more about their own status over the parents and guests benefit. Furthermore, the venue did not have working AC and was hotter on the inside than outside, despite it being upgrade recently. Moreover, its size, layout, and design was cheap and an eyesore the whole party. Overall it was not a good venue and should be avoided.

Here are a few staff members I'd like to highlight that were absolute champs during our event. Anthony - this man was everywhere!!! From responding to urgent text messages asking for HVAC adjustments, to vacuuming the floor himself, to placing salad plates on the tables. Anthony was a huge help and consistently professional and reliable during our 2 days. It was a great pleasure to work with him. Karina - she was part of the serving/kitchen staff. Apologies for not remembering her title, but she was wonderful. It was evident that she took pride in her work and in getting things right. She was always on the move making appropriate adjustments and was always open and happy to take questions and/or requests with professionalism and grace. 2 Small negative comments 1. Conference room cleanliness - the conference floor/carpet needed to be vacuumed. NOTE: there was an event right before ours, but the made a bit of a mess on the floor and it looked a little unkept. Anthony himself did a lot of vacuuming for us to help clean up the main room. 2. HVAC - in the smaller meeting rooms, the HVAC was really loud and difficult to hear speakers over the noise. It also seemed difficult to get the air to those rooms turned off so the noise would stop during the speaker's time. Anthony did try multiple times to help in this area. The hotel stay was also pleasant - the room was clean and up-to-date. The gym was HUGE and had great equipment - weights and cardio machines facing the beautiful scenery outside. The outside of the hotel was also beautiful - a little pond and gas fire pit that's turned on in the evenings. The hotel restaurant was also wonderful - great food! And since our event used the in-house food, the food provided for our event was similar quality to what was served in the hotel restaurant. It was delicious! To watch her light up when being apart of such an inviting and upbeat atmosphere keeps me wanting to come back. Mr. Nick is an incredible musician. He knows how to bring all the parents and babies together with his songs, style and rhythm. My only hope is to have this on the weekends for when I have to go back to work!! Super grateful for this gem for families needing that community engagement for their little ones.

They offer Virtual Classes now! We are absolutely thrilled that we have been able to continue…read moretaking classes with Mr. Dave Music during the stay-at-home order in Illinois. Not to mention that now anyone, anywhere can take classes with Mr. Dave. Mr. Dave is just as great and engaging in the virtual classes as he is in person. The sound is really nice, the set is cute, and Mr. Dave has his animal "friends" there dancing along with us. There is a lot of active movement, which is great considering we are staying inside for much of the time. By the end of the class, we have danced, jumped, sang, done sign language, learned about instruments and animals and our ABCs and all kinds of things. The price point on the virtual classes is great and the times they offer are convenient. Can't wait to be back in the studio... but for now - we love the Mr. Dave Music 'Virtual Experience'!
