I received a confirmation email that said to wait for a "ready for pick up" notification from the store before picking up the game. Today (Friday, November 15th) was the release date, and I waited for a call or email to go pick up my game. I didn't receive either. So, I just called the store, and explained the situation. The sales person said they don't send out emails, but they had early pick up yesterday for people who reserved a copy. I told him I wasn't notified, and said they didn't get through all the notification calls. In the past, I always had really awesome customer service. But guess what, GameStop, you lost a loyal customer. I will be going elsewhere for my games now. Your loss. I'll vote with my money at a place who will treat me like a loyal customer.

Our mistake for buying the wrong product. However, when we took it back the next day, we were informed that we cannot do a return or even in-store credit. It was pointed out that on the bottom of our receipt, it said no returns for any product that has been opened. Understandable if this was a game that we could've played, and then tried to return, etc. That isn't the case. The employee at this location was kind and respectful, the managers that he placed us on the phone to was not. Apparently, every time you make a purchase anywhere, you need to read the bottom of the receipt to make sure that you didn't just get screwed. Pretty unbelievable when local businesses want you to shop with them instead of Amazon. However, Amazon allows you to return things and not waste $60 on the wrong product. So, GameStop, you'll never get another dollar from us again unfortunately will shop at Amazon instead of supporting your local business. Consider this your fine print on YOUR receipt.
