It stocks a wide range of craft items, with a very good range for card makers to buy; there is also a good range of painting related products on display. Do not miss the small room at the back as sometime products are not where you may expect them to be and often I will find an item in the room at the rear that I expected to find in the front of the shop, and just presumed they were out of stock of. The main staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly however I do find that if someone has been brought in from the stationary shop next door to cover a shift then their product knowledge is poor. They are also very willing to try and order in an out of stock item for you.

They sell a good range of greetings cards and wrapping paper, stationery and crafts materials as well as CDs, DVDs, magazines and books although I am sure their range of books has decreased in recent years and now concentrates more on the celebrity novels and maps than most other genres. There are often good deals on many items although W H Smiths is not always the cheapest option.
