Went In about 30 minutes ago to get a controller replacement my controller was around 200$ with a 30$ warranty for 1-2 years bought it earlier this year in January, so the warranty still valid. I asked if I could get my money back or a replacement to something of equal value she said I can only exchange it for the other controller which was lesser value at 84$ as I was getting told this I was confused by why I'm losing so much money so I asked her why can't I get my money back she said you can either exchange it for the broken one or take your old controller and leave honestly I just took the controller and left but honestly am super upset after the terrible customer service after it all! She was chubby. She had black hair and she was in her 30s. She was white. She gave an attitude and it was very rude about the whole situation and she had no sympathy or kindness towards me and that makes me not want to come back again. She should not be working there if she is going to treat customers like that. Anyway I just thought I'd let anyone know that invested in the warranty program with GameStop don't do it it's a scam!!! Great store overall. Excellent manager and the employees are always helpful and friendly.

Many people have given Gamestop (no matter the location) a bad reputation, but I've had nothing but good experiences. The employees are very kind, polite, and quick to help. The first time I went in, I was an incredibly socially awkward person, stumbling over my words, talking too quietly, and apologizing profusely and even forgot my phone in my car, but the guy that was working there was very patient and understanding. I felt less awkward when I was in there and visited quite a few times, and the service hasn't changed. read more

Our local GameStop is amazing! Antonio is hands down the best!!! He always greets us by name and welcomes us in with a big smile. He calls when things come in he thinks my kids may like or will put them aside with our pre-ordered items. One of my kids is disabled and Antonio goes above and beyond helping us find things that will work for her. They are lucky to have him!!!! read more
