My preferred place to get paintings framed. If you shop with the frequent discounts and mailer coupons it's a fantastic deal and you get a quality frame from it too. Speed wise they are not fast to frame, but a quality work of art takes time and I have never had a complaint about the quality and care they take for my art. I have trusted hundreds of dollars worth of my own work into their hands and never once been disappointed. Supplies are all great, in the absence of a local art supplies store it's a fantastic place to purchase quality canvas, paints, shadow boxes, and any number of other art supplies. read more

This is a nice store. It is new, which is a bonus. Good selection, they had things that my local East Bay Mike's doesn't offer. No fabric really, but that is okay as JoAnn's is next door. Great scrapbooking selection. Not that fond of the staff. One lady was very helpful, the other 4 were kind of snotty. Again, you are not doing ME a favor by being there, I pay your salary. Definitely will come back when I am in the area because I will use the 40% off coupons and I like not paying sales tax. ;P read more

I have to say Michaels in Klamath has the BEST customer service! The last couple of times I have been in there, upon checking out I have been greeted with a smiles and the ladies have been very friendly and helpful by adding coupons that I forget to bring in with me. read more

I have regularly shopped Michaels stores for years, particularly since I moved to Oregon and lost access to the Blick Art Supply stores where I used to get most of my fine art supplies. I was extremely disappointed with a recent purchase at the Klamath Falls store. I printed off one of Michaels website coupons for 40% off my entire purchase of art supplies (paints, pencils, brushes, etc.) and went into the store to stock up on a few tubes of paint. When I reached the register, the cashier rapidly rang up my items, was fairly pleasant and conversational, but when she attempted to scan my home printed coupon it didn't work, and she only tried it once. She never even actually looked at the coupon (I had laid it on the check out counter with my items, facing me), and instead of picking up the coupon and examining it, she assumed (seeing the 40% off in the title of the coupon) that it was just one of the standard 40% off one item coupons. She proceeded to pull out her register copy of the 40% off one item coupon, scan it, and tell me my (incorrect) total. I asked her "Isn't my coupon for 40% off all art items?" Again, she didn't bother looking at my coupon, just replied "No, it's only 40% off one item". There were other people in line, and I hate arguing with incompetent sales staff, so I just shrugged, paid, went home, and immediately wrote a letter to Michaels Customer Service in Irving, Texas. It's been a month and I've received no feedback from them, no refund of the difference between what I paid and what I should have had to pay, no apology, nothing. I'm guessing they don't care about service or customers, as they've already got their money and their overuse of coupons is enough to drag in customers to buy their overpriced products, regardless of how inept their staff may be. It's not the first time this company's incompetent employees have done something stupid-my mother took a print of one of my paintings to a Michaels back in MN to have it custom framed. She picked out a very fancy complementary mat that had to special ordered, and when she finally went to pick up the framed print (several weeks after it was supposed to be done and she had to call and pester them into doing the work) she was disappointed to see the 'custom framing and matting' was so poorly done that the mat hadn't even been cut correctly to allow the print title or other border writing on the lithograph to be seen. Utter incompetence and pathetic service. Horrible. I will be gladly paying more for shipping when I order my art supplies from Blick Art online from now on. read more

Great store but on the small side. Also, not too fond of the staff. I came in and after waiting for the cashier to stop chatting with someone for about 5 minutes, she didnt give me an item I purchased and she put the receipt in the bag so I had no proof of purchase. I came in later to tell them and basically got the too bad for me. So the cashier most likely ended up giving my item to the person behind me. It was the last one they had too! Im pretty upset about this and will not return. This was on 10/26/15 at about 11am at the register closest to the exit door. The Klamath Falls Michaels has some of the worst customer service I'm have ever experienced!!! I attempted to buy some craft paper that was advertised for .25, regularly. 59 each. The paper rang up at .59 cents each. I told the cashier that this was the regular price not the sale price. She informed me that she did not know what was on sale. I proceeded to give her the sale ad from my purse. She then told me that this sale stars tomorrow. When I'm showed her the ad she would not honor the price, she also told me that she was a manager. She then grabbed the paper from me and started to put it under the counter. I told her I'd would pay full price for the paper since she would not honor the ad.. This ad also was not dated, I'm had just cut it out that day! I'm hate rude ineffective and stupid people who allow their miniscule amount of authority to go to their heads. I will no longer shop at Michaels due to this rude/stupid individual. I'm will shop at JoAnnes and Walmart. Nothing is worth being treated so poorly by an iliterate, incompetent fool. read more
