Stopped by Gamestop to get my son an amiibo. I had no idea what an amiibo was until we made this trip to buy one. Apparently, tapping the amiibo on the controller unlocks power ups in certain Nintendo Switch video games. Who knew? Must be some kind of wireless wizardry going on there. The long, black haired guy with glasses was great. Dude showed up at 5am on black Friday to deal with all us crazies there for the limited number of new consoles. The girl did great too. They had a younger kid manning the door and answering the phone. They kept covid precautions enforced. Im certain they are underpaid for situations like these. They were very prepared and had a plan and executed it very well.. I just hope nobody gave them too much shit after i left because they were awesome. read more
