I had a very poor experience with this establishment. Upon recommendation from my local sewing shop, I drove an hour to this place to have them fix a sewing machine I inherited from my grandma. The owner of the store was very pushy and tried to sell me some very expensive sewing machines. I humored him for a while until he started asking rude and inappropriate questions about how much money I make, at which point I told him I needed to get going. After he realized he wasn t going to sell me a new machine, he turned me over to a very inexperienced young male worker to fill out paperwork, answered the phone, and never talked to me again. The store fixed my machine, but they never bothered to call and let me know it was finished. Six weeks later I called, and they said I could pick it up. When I got there, they actually lost the box of attachments that I left with the machine. They claim that they never had this equipment, but I suspect it got lost when the younger man took my machine into the back. They said that they would call if/when it turned up, but of course they never have. I would strongly suggest you take your business elsewhere unless you need to buy a very expensive machine designed for quilting. read more

I have been dealing with Gammill Sewing Center since 2007. They have always been courteous and attentive to listening to issues with machines. I travel almost 500 miles to have them work on my machines after experiencing a repair shop where I live, who said they could work on Janome machines. After they worked on it locally, Gammill had to replace the entire tensioniing system. Unlike the other reviewer, if I haven't heard within a week, I call. Having been there at different times, I know how busy they can get and adjust my time with this. I bought my first machine from joe bout 32 years ago. I hadn't been back for several years when I walked in it ws as if he remembered me made me feel very welcome. Frank is very easy do deal and will do his best to make you a good deal. I highly reccomended going there they treat you with respect and are always wiling to help whether you are buying a small accessory or a machine. I will never shop any where else.
