He love his teachers Mrs Rose and Mrs Eva and always come back home with a smile! Both of them show their love, care and patience to the children and always make sure my boy is eating well, taking snap and learning happily. There is a positive and encouraging vibe in the class and kids are pretty organized and learning new things everyday. Montessori school is unique. They will arrange learning schedules, including drawing, spelling, counting and even spanish language! After being here for almost a year, my son becomes more self-discipline and he enjoy reading books now! The school hosted Halloween party and invited parents to celebrate together. Kids dressed up to dance, sing and play, which is a memorable experience. The ignorance displayed by Ms. Giuliana about the disease was insulting, she even asked me to consider enrolling my child at her school once the disease is "cured". Bottom line: children with medical needs are not welcome here because their medical needs are an "inconvenience" to the staff and other children in the school.

I think all of the teachers have been with the school for at least 10 years, some are probably closer to 20 at this point. I'm not an expert on the Montessori way but, academically, our oldest was more than ready for TK. When she left ICMA she was starting to read, write, and had started basic math. From 18 months all the way up to 4 years old, we've had almost all the teachers and can't recommend them enough. The teachers and staff are accessible if you have questions or want to discuss something and they keep parents in the loop on what's going on with the class.

They are happy, they have fun, and they learn - so much that they're coming home teaching ME things! My son started kindergarten elsewhere this year and is beaming with self confidence because of the strong academic foundation ICMA built. The staff truly becomes like family, caring deeply about each child's individual needs. They meet every child where they are, encouraging growth and curiosity in a way that feels natural and joyful. It's clear that they are dedicated to fostering not just academic skills but also a love for learning. We're so thankful that we chose ICMA, and we're excited to still be part of this wonderful community as my daughter has a few more years here. This school has made a lasting impact on our family, and we can't recommend it highly enough!! Stephanie's leadership is great, she's communicative and always goes above and beyond with the biggest smile. And while I can speak lovingly about all the teachers our family has been blessed to have (Ms. Teri, Ms. Bithi, Ms. Aracelia, Ms. Laarni, Ms. Badar, Ms. Murin), EVERY SINGLE TEACHER has been loving, respectful, kind and so very invested in our kids' lives (Ms. Joann, Ms. Lucie, Ms. Laila, Ms. Carla & I hope I am not forgetting anyone). They are the most gracious, maternal teachers and truly God sent.

They are dedicated, professional educators who have been instrumental in my son's development since 2022. My 1-star review is a direct reflection of the Regional and Corporate Leadership, who have proven to be out of touch, rigid, and entirely dismissive of the families they serve. After four years of loyalty and nearly $97,000 in tuition, we were notified on April 3rd that the center is closing permanently on June 26th. Bright Horizons gave families less than 90 days' notice. In the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area, registration for reputable TK and summer programs closes in February. By the time they told us, we were already locked out of the market. When I reached out to leadership to collaboratively propose a 34-business-day extension to mid-August--to prevent my child from having to endure three different care transitions in six weeks--I was met with canned, corporate jargon. They refused a 7-week "bridge" extension, citing "staffing stability." They essentially admitted that their own HR logistics are more important than the developmental stability of the children. They are willing to leave families stranded in a childcare desert rather than find a creative solution for 34 days of operations. It is heartbreaking to see such wonderful teachers and students treated like line items on a spreadsheet. Bright Horizons markets itself as a "partner" to working parents, but their actions prove otherwise. They are a massive corporation that will pull the rug out from under your family's life with zero regard for local reality. If you are looking for a childcare provider that values long-term partnership and human stability, look elsewhere. The teachers here deserve better, and the families certainly do too. If your company offers this as a "benefit," be careful. Your child's stability is only guaranteed as long as it fits their "business needs."

It was the first place that felt like home! I needed care for an infant and they had a large open space that was clean and engaging. What really sold me was the tour given by Miss Ally. She listened to my concerns and ensured me that my child's needs would be met. They didn't require drop off at a certain time. Other centers did. They welcomed updates about sleep, temperament, and would adjust their care accordingly. Awesome. We started when my little one was 10 months old. He is now 15 months and loves daycare! They dance, they play, they learn, they do art. All the caregivers are wonderful. The staff answers questions and will even give advice. They have become trusted partners in raising my child. AND they allow me to switch care days if they have availability. This is something other centers don't offer. I am so lucky to have found Bright Horizons. I wanted the best for my little one. And I found it. :)

In the daycare, they diligently log everything via an app and send photos of the baby playing happily. They have music development and lots of educational Montessori toys. The women working there are so happy and kind, and clearly care a lot about all of the children. They have great ratios of caregivers to babies and whenever we do drop off, it's clear the babies all feel safe and are (reasonably) calm. They are baby magicians - our son slept better at school than at home for naps! They have been great about letting us know about any issues (rashes, bumps) and have been incredibly kind about his food allergies. They have been very diligent to protect our son and were amazingly inclusive for the class party to make sure he would be safe. We know our baby is in amazing hands! Our preschool age son also has a lot of fun at school. They have been very patient with him as our potty-trained child suddenly refused to go to the bathroom. Ms. Ramirez spends one-on-one time with each child to ensure they are learning. It's great to see the Montessori techniques in action as they work on math and shapes! The admin is highly communicative and also kind and very creative. Mrs. Teel regularly hosts fun seasonal events for the kids which they all enjoy. It's a lot to manage a daycare and a school, and she makes it look effortless. It's amazing to me what a wonderful community she's built and our family is so grateful to be a part of it.

We enrolled our 10-month-old daughter here, and within two months she came home with a fractured arm. The school said nothing when we picked her up -- just a vague mention of her being fussy. It wasn't until our pediatrician took X-rays that we learned the truth. What broke my heart wasn't just the injury -- it was her first birthday spent in a cast. As her mother, I will never forget that. When we asked for answers, there was no security footage to review because the cameras had apparently been removed months earlier. No accountability. No transparency. Nothing. Four years later I still think about it. I hope this school has since made real changes -- better vetted teachers, cameras restored, and proper incident reporting. Every child deserves that. Every mother deserves to feel her baby is truly safe. I'm posting this because I'd want another mom to warn me.

My…read moreson is a very special child, and we tried many so-called "popular schools" in the area before, but I later discovered that this school was the best. Irvine Montessori is his first school, because of our good experience, we transferred to Newport Montessori after we went to lots of other schools. If you want your child to grow up in a safe, kind, and loving environment, this is the best choice. My son used to have problems at other schools. He didn't want to go to school in the morning, and he had trouble getting along with his friends. He even liked to push other children. But for some reason, after coming to this school, all his bad behavior disappeared. He was happy to go to school every day. He made many friends at school. Every day when he went to school, many classmates would come and hug him. This was completely the opposite of how he had been described as a monster at other schools. Later I realized that it all depended on the kind teachers in this school. Because of their kindness, every child was taught to treat everyone with kindness. Ms Angela, Ms Emily even his previous teacher Ms Everly. They all so kind. Of course, there are many other kind teachers as well. I would even say that the school owner is really good at hiring; everyone here is kind. Because of my previous experience, you can't imagine how grateful I am to this school. My son has had a truly enjoyable time here. I feel so relaxed. All the anxiety I used to have is gone. Don't assume that just because they aren't as famous as other schools, their academics are inferior. I personally witnessed their professors providing one-on-one academic instruction, something that other schools don't seem to offer. I'm not good at leaving positive reviews. But I feel I have to give them a good review, just to put my mind at ease. Thank you Newport Montessori! If they have an elementary program , we would definitely stay here !

Unfortunately, I can only give this school one star because, over the four years my children were here, I witnessed multiple disturbing incidents where the owner and directors engaged in heated verbal arguments on campus--resulting in at least two directors quitting. The hostile work environment fostered by the owner seems to have caused significant anxiety among the staff, leading to a high turnover rate that ultimately harms the children who form strong attachments to their teachers. As a parent, stability is my top priority when choosing a preschool, which is why I made the difficult decision to pull my children out. If you're looking for a school that operates like a family--a place where employees are valued and the well-being of the staff and students is prioritized--this is not that place. It's deeply concerning that, even after speaking with parents who had children here nearly a decade ago, it seems the same issues persist. In a time when we have the power to choose where to spend our money, I cannot in good conscience support a business that treats its employees so poorly. I sincerely hope the school ownership changes.

Because of that, I never would have imagined something like this could happen under Mrs. Priya's supervision. Upon arrival, one my kid guardian saw Mrs. Sharon using what she described as a "rocking" method to help my child fall asleep. What was seen however, was very distressing and did not look like rocking. The way my child was being handled felt inappropriate and unsafe. Rough handling is completely unnecessary and inadmissible. Seeing my child treated that way left visibly distressed, and as a parent it was heartbreaking and disturbing. I withdrew my child from the school immediately after this incident.
