I was excited to pop in here as I like gap clothes. I thought this was going to be a great discounted warehouse. However it's full of clothes that I wouldn't wear. Very disappointing. read more

This location is not in the shopping centre, but beside it, in one of those "strips" of shops…read more The staff here was quite helpful and not at all pushy. They let me browse my suits at my leisure and were attentive in helping me try on what I fancied. The store itself is large and the selection resembles this. They have a variety of suits, from the standard fare of blacks, navy, and greys to some quite flashy and shiny duds. There were two sections of neckties in the back and a variety of shirt selections throughout the store. It's worth noting, however, that the assistant did more than hold the jacket for me while I try it on. While I was browsing ties, he showed me ones of better value and higher quality. So a better product for less than what I was perusing. He did the same again with shirts. I ended up purchasing a nice three piece Italian suit, with a lovely cotton shirt and a black-striped silk tie. This cost me under 180 Euro! Granted, there was a special going on, however it appears that this is a common situation. They also gave me a travel bag and suit jacket hanger. The travel bag is quite impressive and, while not excessively durable, will keep liquids and dirt off your clothes. Best of all, it zips in a fold without causing too much wrinkle or despair to the garments inside. The suit I purchased isn't cheap rubbish. Now it, obviously, isn't of the same cut or quality as some of the 500-700 Euro custom jobs, but it is significantly better than many of the 300-350 Euro suits I've seen in a few of the boutiques and department stores. It seems to be wearing well, as I've set it into my regular rotation and it isn't fraying apart or any other nonsense. Not at all bad combination for the price!

I have a little problem when it comes to TK Maxx - I could literally spend half a day here. I love their homeware section in Balnchardstown it is really big and very well spaced out unlike so many of their stores. They really have everything under one roof in this branch so if you are a bargain hunter I would highly recommend it - the kids section is also very large. Don't be put off if you've been to some of the smaller ones where there is stuff everywhere. Also there is very rarely a Q to pay or for the changing rooms so it really is a nice shopping experience. It is located in one of the little retail parks just off to the side of the shopping centre.

TK Maxx boasts 45 percent off regular prices, but often the clothes on offer seem to be those that the designer was having a bit of a practice with. I personally like the bric-a-brac section, where you can find great one-off Christmas presents, coffee table books and foreign biscuits.

I had heard good things about CT2 in Blanchardstown and decided to see for myself. The wedding was in France and I was concerned about the logistics . the staff were amazing and so helpful in guiding me through my options and the suits were perfect. I was amazed to see how welcoming and cheerful the staff were even though the shop was busy with other customers. When the wedding guests saw the groom and his grooms men , I was asked where we got the suits and when I told them CT2 were the provider they said they will be using CT2 for their weddings! A huge thanks the Staff at CT2, you made my task simple and we looked great! Sincerely, Brian

And in fairness where else can you do hours of shopping see a movie and have dinner without paying a cent for parking ?? The food side of the centre has improved massively in the last year - it used to just be fast food but now they have Wagamana, Captain Americas, Milano, Nandos amongst others.
Look, I'm not the biggest proponent of shopping centres. They're too packed, too bright, too hot,…read moretoo packed, not enough independent shops, and eh, they're too packed. So Blanch is no different. It's always rammed. It has the usual mix of high street shops and cheap eats. It does have an added benefit (depending on your perspective!) of being surrounded by outlets and bigger retail parks as well, so you can do your clothes shopping in the centre, then get your house-y stuff in the bigger ones on the outskirts. If you're into getting all your shopping done at once, and don't mind shopping centres, to be honest, it's not half bad. It does seem to have a greater selection of more 'value' shops than Liffey Valley and Dundrum if you're on more of a budget, which is good. Pro Tip: I have found on two occasions that all the carparks were full except the multi-story one on the Debenhams / M&S side, so if you're having problems finding somewhere to park, give that area a goo.

There are always lots of shoes on sale, especially between seasons Selling a range of casual sneaks, edgy leather boots and unusual and fun heels, Graham's has a great mix of stuff that will keep you from blending in. Think of this place as a little bit indie. They sell a few brands that I have always loved - Poetic License and Irregular Choice, which I haven't found anywhere else in Dublin. The prices aren't bad, and the sale prices are awesome. Lots of pairs are half off or even more! Definitely check this place out if you're not interested in the cookie cutter party girl look.
Hello "Hello" said…read morethe nice but clearly tired shop assistant, "how can I help you?" She looked at me, realised it was unlikely that I was in to get shoes for myself (we were in the kids dept) and looked for the child that must be somewhere in tow. ...there he was... faster than a speeding bullet, diving through my legs, past the fish tank (really big, impressive and colourful) and under the benches. She looks at the legs and feet poking out, measures the feet and gets a selection of runners for himself. The selection was big and well chosen.... All bright, boyish and garish as hell. I spotted the ones he would go for immediately - not the most expensive (but not cheap), but by far the brightest most garish runners I have ever seen - they even had lights, lots of lights. Within 2 mins he had them on He didn't take them off for 3 days. Great shop, great (and very tolerant) staff.
