As a plus-size shopper, finding stylish options that actually fit well can be a challenge. But I walked out with four shirts, some sunglasses, and even picked up a gift for someone else. The selection was great, the prices were reasonable, and the customer service was AMAZING. A huge thank you to the team at Curv Exchange on North Dale Mabry. From helping me find pieces for my upcoming conferences to making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, the experience was top-tier. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help me find what worked best for me. I really hated to be one of those ones but the girls there Gracie and Jesstalyn were absolutely accommodating the entire time. I skimmed through the racks tried on a couple of good ones that were gorgeous but weren't the right fit. I then asked if I can try the one off the mannequin and...it fit like a glove! I literally felt like Pretty Woman, hold the pimpin. The dress was gorgeous; I paired it with silver and had a ball at the ball! I DEFINITELY recommend Curv Exchange. I've been in several times trying to give it the benefit if the doubt but each time almost the entirety of the women's section has been overpriced fast fashion. I checked and it would cost more to buy their ripped, used shein clothing than it would to just buy brand new for shein. Also found a walmart brand tank that retails $2.98 brand new at walmart, priced for $5.99 here. Final straw was when I went in on a day accessories were 50% off and got several accessories. You can't see what prices are while they're being rung up, and I thought my total sounded high, so I asked for my receipt. They could only text it to me, and sure enough, only 1 out of the 4 accessories I got were discounted. Since I paid cash, I was told my only option was to pick out something else for that exact amount right then and there, which by then I had no interest in doing. Not sure if the pricing is done based on a company wide policy or what, but they have to work on either improving the quality of their inventory or lowering prices because as it stands, I don't think it's worth it to shop there :/ The individuals who work there seem lovely and the issues at hand seem to stem from blanket policies and decisions outside of their control.

I came here one weekend and found some great deals and was super happy with my experience. Even some Goodwill stores have higher prices and Tampa Thrift seems a little more boutique style then it is true thrift so you just have to come in with that mindset, or don't come if you don't like it. What I like that they do here is a lot of big sales. Each day there's a specific tag color that's 50% off, and this is where I found some really great pick ups. They also have one weekend each month where the whole store is 50% off, which is super cool and probably the main time I'll come back. I thought the store was fairly clean overall. They do have a couple dressing rooms if you prefer to try stuff on, and a bathroom. As with most thrift stores, there's at least twice as many women's clothing options then men's. But as a woman I was impressed with the selection and range of brands they had here. They had a good selection of blazers, not only for men but specifically women's too- I found a super nice one almost brand new for $10. There were quite a few shoes as well- sneakers and sandals and in between, I snatched a cute lil pair of heels for like $7. Another nice thing, they had a lot of kids stuff here. I've found at most thrift stores it just depends if they have kids items, especially clothing but they had a whole section here for kids clothes, as well as toys and stuff. I was happy with my visit here and will definitely be back.
