Contracted this company to replace railing on my deck. While this contractor came when scheduled,…read morethe initial quote was incorrect for the actual work. So to get the actual work done was now going to be twice as much. Since he was there already I agreed. When I started inspecting the work several issues were found which he worked to correct, however rather than replacing a piece of railing that was obviously damaged during installation, he cut a part piece and patched with a board behind. This "patching" was also done on one of the top boards due to flat butted ends causing sagging. Rather than replicate the railing system as it was on the deck he recommended a different approach which seemed reasonable at the time. Since then (literally last week), several pickets have fallen out and when I measured the gap left under the bottom rail it was, at times almost 5 inches. Meaning the railings are not even level. I will likely have to replace the entire thing myself to make sure it is correct. I would not recommend this company for any kind of finished carpentry work.

Overall, everything was handled very quickly and he gave us some advice on handling the electrical appliances while we wait for Georgia Power Company to come over and fix the issue for us. We agreed on a time for an on-site quote. I received an email saying the job was scheduled and then another email confirming the appointment. However, they never showed up for the appointment. Then they sent an email 4 hours after the scheduled appointment asking if I wanted to reschedule, that their technician called in sick last minute. This email was a forward of a prior email around the appointment time that had a wrong email address, despite them emailing me several times successfully prior to that. They also said they left me a voicemail around the appointment time, but I never received ot. They offered in their email to make it up to me, but I have moved on.

As a professional real estate agent and an owner of a stucco home, I can tell you it is not worth…read morethe $$$ to a seller or a buyer to get this bond. Stucco, first of all, is made of concrete. Concrete naturally cracks. This company says they will warranty any moisture from getting in the home for a year. However you have to pay for an inspection with them first at $500. Then you have to repair every little tiny hairline crack or they won't warranty it. You could potentially hire another company to do the repair and pay a lot less, but this company will still need to come back to check the work, likely will make you do more repairs anyways, since they are the ones doing the warranty. Then keep in mind, this is only a 1 year warranty and for them to do the repairs, they say on the estimate, they may still have to do more work (like items they didn't know about after the begin the work). So technically a seller could spend $10k just to do this, while the buyer only gets a 1 year warranty that they then have to renew every year anyways and repair future cracks anyways. And you know what? The inspection on this home showed that there was no concern on moisture to begin with! Don't do this warranty! Instead, hire a stucco expert to assess home and repair as necessary. This bod is not worth the even the time I am taking to write this review!

SIR was able to schedule our inspection within a few days. They showed up on time (even a little early, which was helpful to us). The inspector was obviously VERY experienced. He said he has been an installer for 25 years prior to becoming an inspector. He thoroughly explained what he was doing and what he found. We have 100% confidence in this company and very much recommend them.
