However I still dont understand how they didnt see anything. He didnt void(urine) for 3days. He went back on the 3rd day and they question his urine output. They didnt even take him out of the bed to go to the bathroom. Put him in a brief. Mind you my father was up and moving around good after his hip replacement. If you dont get a person up to move around the chances of blood clots is high. So yes my father died from the blood clots that was formed for the hip replacement. I pray if you read this. Make sure you keep looking. You dont want your love one to go in the first day and be met with CNA's and nurses starting off neglecting your love one.

My mother-in-law is still there and really loves the CARE and the Ginuwine love that she does receive from this home. Gretchen and her husband Steve are two of the most wonderful people we have ever had the luxury to meet. I really wish that yelp had a 10 star rating system because I still try to give it a 12. So.. this review is two fold. While it is an over all rating of 1 star, the nursing staff is not…read moreincluded in this review. This is only for administration and procedures. That in mind.. We chose this center due to its reviews by Medicare as an acceptable, and close, center for my MIL's long term rehab care. First off, the administrator that came out to talk to us after choosing, was completely off the mark on what was promised vs what was delivered. Many things were "noted" and "would be taken care of on arrival" I would only assume to entice us to send my family member there. Once there.. the nursing staff were (and are) phenomenal. Kind, caring, empathetic, and helpful. The social coordinator, not so much. In fact, this guy was the worst person to have held any sort of customer facing position that you could have. Stated he was a former correctional officer and his demeanor showed. He was rude, sarcastic, talked over myself and my partner, spoke about topics that he was asked not to discuss multiple times, did not listen and only had the center's amount of money obtained from insurance in mind. Many times he would come back and restate things that had been discussed the previous day and act like it was the first he'd heard of them. He has NO business being in a place like this and only after escalating to the parent/operating company was his behavior even addressed. The general atmosphere at this center is one of "give me the money up front and then we might discuss your family's care". We had to even pay out of pocket for transportation (which we have never had to do before with any other time it had been used) only to potentially be reimbursed up to 60 days after. The administration did little to actually provide transparency or information about my MILs care, and only after MULTIPLE times and threats were we able to even get any semblance of response. Al in all, a horrible center. It didn't even smell clean. Will not be going back and warning everyone to stay away. Hopefully the good nursing staff can find a better place with a more reputable center.

My Dad fell broke his right hip and caller bone on December 12, surgery 2 days later and off to…read morerehab after 5 days total. This place was amazing. Friendly, helpful and kind staff. I did not meet one person there that did not offer me assistance or ask if I had questions. They took amazing care of my Dad. They were quick on the call lights, lunch was punctual, 3 hours of therapy 5 days a week. 1.5 of physical therapy and 1.5 of occupational therapy. He got a bath every other afternoon. They changed all his bedding that day as well. The RNs were on time with his meds. The place really cares about the patients and their family.

We were told if he leaves they will withhold a referral back to his home health agency to continue the Physical Therapy he was getting through them. They will not schedule transportation for him to leave. He is there for help transferring from bed to a wheelchair but everytime he is moved from the bed to the wheelchair they use a Hoya lift. PT said his blood pressure was 140 which is very high for him. He pressure is usually 90 & occasionally 115 did anyone come & see why it was raised no. Then I find out one of his medications, a hard solid pill is being locked in a refrigerator? The pill doesn't require refrigerating. The meals are less than eatible. I have only seen brown pumpkin pie when it is time to pitch it in the trash. Collard greens are not to everyone's liking & if you have kidney issues like most people you are told to stay away from dark leafy greens. They do not turn him to prevent be sores & I brought in a wedge pillow that is never used. I walked in to his room & they had turned the thermostat to 65. It was extremely cold. I had to put a note up that he keeps his house at 78 FOR HIS COMFORT. Long story, I could never recommend this place.
