When my daughter first started there I had a new baby and was sitting in the waiting room and they didn't say a word. No hello, didn't tell us which class room, no welcome, introduction nothing. I stopped going in after 2 months of not a word. There's fundraisers being sent home constantly. I questioned the purpose- it was a cloudy response which then ended with its for a scholarship for whoever's daughter sells the most. Which costs them nothing so, basically the funds are for them. I don't care how great they say their recitals are, the costs and specifications are ridiculous. Won't be returning.

Briana was so kind and wonderful on the phone. I called on a Sunday and she pulled the potential sizes ahead of time. Originally, I was not going to bring my son. Briana encouraged me to bring him in order to have him try them on in person. I am so glad I listened! My ETA was 12:01pm and the store was due to close at noon. Briana said no worries, she would stay in order for me to try the shoes on. WOW! By the time we found parking it was 12:05pm we scored a great spot a block away) and we called Briana to advise we were walking up now. She was so sweet; so personable and assured us that she would stay open for us to arrive. Turns out my son was a larger and wider size and Briana had just the size and width that we needed! There were a few places with great reviews but most of the moms that I knew sent their kids to DanceWorks for ballet / tap / etc. I was surprised by the lack of reviews but decided to try it out and WE LOVE IT! My daughter is always energized and happy leaving class and we are looking forward to their annual show in June where all classes get to showcase what they've learned. In addition, we just had my daughter's 6th birthday party here and I received multiple follow ups from parents telling me that their kids had so much fun at the dance party. I decided to add a review to help any parents out there who may not be aware of DanceWorks and may not hear about it through word of mouth. It's a wonderful place!
