DISH doesn't have Internet service, they push you to HughesNet which is terrible. Especially for…read moremetro area that has highspeed fiber options, no limits, weather impacts, etc. We tried HughesNet for 12 months and after multiple calls to their customer support, they ran remote diagnostics with maximum 3 devices which worked. Not when kids home, IP cam, and WiFi thermostat connected. The 2nd call they said it was the weather. Found out small roof dish is affected by even slight rain/snow causing long latencies, dropped connections, etc. Even Youtube, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and security cams wouldn't stay connected. A real waste of money and many hours on multiple customer service calls. After canceling, l had less than 45 days to climb on roof (with 3 feet of snow & ice) to get their radio transmitter from dish (they installed) otherwise more equipment fees. Argh. DO NOT use HughesNet - especially when so many better options exist in the metro areas.
