I reluctantly left my dog there but was shaking with anger about this interaction. When I picked up my dog from Clean Paws Morgan couldn't have been nicer to me. I don't know if she had some insight into how she treated me when I initially arrived or what but I will never return to this grooming business ever again. If you make an appointment with Clean Paws grooming do not book with Morgan. After the appointment I walked directly to the store part of the business and spoke to a manager and let them know of my very poor experience.

Almost everything I ever bought form other nurseries has died in my bitter cold and windy location; everything I ever bought from Emma is alive and well. She stocks only plants that were grown in cold regions, so no plants from Florida or Georgia that go into shock the minute you stick them into stony NH ground. She has surprisingly good variety too. You'll pay a little bit more, but it is well worth it. Her place is a but remote, so you'll think you are you are lost before you get there, but worth the trip. Best of NH in my book!

The only "problem" was that poor Emma was very short-handed, and with various landscaping jobs on her agenda she could not get the items we purchased delivered to us as soon as we'd have liked. However, once delivery was possible Emma, her husband, and a friend brought the truckload of trees and shrubs, unloaded them right where they were to be planted, and did so efficiently and with good humor. I very much appreciated the planting and care advice I was given, and look forward to as much enjoyment from these items as my husband and I have gotten from the beautiful Eastern Redbud, the spectacular Japanese fine-leaf maple and other plants we have purchased from Emma's in the past.

I asked if another pair could be ordered and they weren't sure because it was the weekend and they needed to reach out to the manufacturer. Today they called me back to say it's out of stock. What got to me is that they were perfectly comfortable selling those earrings to me with damage and tried explaining to me that it's the type of polished gold and it will mark up eventually anyways. If you spend $1,000 on a pair of earrings, you want them in nice condition to begin with. I asked if they could fix the damaged ones on display (bc I loved them that much) and the sales rep said no. It's my second bad experience there. Last time I brought my great grandmothers ring there to get it sized. The jeweler accidentally sized down to a thinner band. When I went to pick it up I noticed it right away. The sales rep never apologized and after the rep confirmed the error on the order, they just offered to refund me for the lesser gold. I didn't trust them to take my ring again at this point to fix it. I didn't want this ring to keep getting resized several times when they should've gotten right the first time. I was extremely disappointed because it was a 75+ year old family diamond ring I was gifted to me. It has significant sentimental value to my family and I felt as though it wasn't a big deal to them and just another job to do. I'm not one to make a big deal about things but since this was my second poor experience there. First with the sizing of a family heirloom and second with not caring enough about a piece they're going to sell at full price with visible damage to it. You would think they would care enough about the pieces they sell to be in new condition. I wouldn't have even bought it at a discounted price due to the damage. Well, here's an impartial independent review: The sandwich I had was terrific. See pics. It was a cold Italian sub with all the veggies except hot ones. I chose provolone cheese. It cost $21 with tax. (Yes, even though NH doesn't have sales tax, there's tax on prepared food). At first I thought it was expensive but when they handed me the sandwich it was clearly over a pound of food. It was so big that it covered three meals for me. Rare that I can only consume 1/3 of a sandwich at a time. The meat they use seems authentic and tastes better than boar's head brand. The only drawback to Pellegrino's is that everything else in the shop is super expensive. Maybe because it's imported from Italy? Maybe because the tourists will pay? I couldn't stomach $5 for a medium size bag of chips. And there's no way I'm paying $14 for a package of croissants that can't be fresh. Having said that, some of the gourmet items would make great gifts if you are feeling generous. Frugal tip: Give it a try, split a sub with a friend and take it home to consume with chips and a drink you already have. On the go tip: don't try eating your sandwich while driving. It's messy. And don't be in a rush, they make the sandwich for you while you wait. But it's worth it.
