Couldn't be more pleased! I recently started having plumbing issues and naivity told me maybe it was related to my septic tank. Google told me I was well overdue for service, so I called and messaged local company#1, waited a week and no response, called local #2, waited a week and nothing. I found Gardner's on Monday called and got a human! I talked to Greg, who answered my basic questions, explained the plumbing issues were not related, but service was due. We set an appointment for 12:00 on Wednesday. Only 2 days away- NICE! Wednesday he called to check in, was available and offered a 10am appt, which was actually better for me. He arrived, was professional, courteous and answered all my questions ( I ask alot!!!). He worked quickly, explained the finished product, the price was reasonable and when he left there was no sign that he'd ever been there. Overall it was a very positive experience. Please go and look elsewhere. They came over my property about 4 months ago. They couldn't find the clean-out pipe so they try to drill the septic with the wrong tool. As a results they broke the top of the septic tank and dirt from their digging fall into the septic tank. Yes you are right, they didn't try to clean the mess they did. They just put something to keep more dirt to go in and cover it up. Now 4 months after that day my septic is in need to pump again. When I called and asked to come and re-pump it they say we told you the septic is full of dirt. They are not professional at any level .They have no dignity They don't backup their work. I am not sure that I will use Gardner Septic in the future. We were ready to move into our new house (built in '65) and the previous owners told me on the day we were getting the keys that the septic job they had to pay for (that caused the house to not pass inspection) had not even started yet. Tire marks and dirt was all over the driveway from their tractor, and the new seepage pit they were installing was in the driveway. They told me the job would be finished on Monday. I had people coming over to help me clean the house on Tuesday (I'm pregnant & needed help), so I went by the house late Monday night (we didn't move our things in the first week) to find that nothing changed. Granted, it had rained a little, but no one called me to tell me they weren't showing up to work. The people cleaning my house that day had to use my new neighbor's water. It wasn't until the afternoon that they said they actually could turn the house water on. It was unfortunate and not their fault that they had to make me choose between cutting down my tree or taking a chunk out of my driveway to install the new pit, since there were already 2 existing pits under my house. What bothered me was the completion of the job. I was told they would put the grass back to how it was, but they left up the caution tape around the cement (with no word on when I should take it down - or no indication that they would return to do so) and did nothing to make new grass grow. The dirt where the big hole was took up about half of my yard. I saw a strange gray color to the dirt after they filled the hole, and I learned from my neighbor that they had dumped their leftover cement dust there in the dirt, and that I had better chop it up in case it solidified. They also painted on my driveway what is required to show the water lines (or whatever it is), but they didn't use dissolvable paint. Now, a month later, the "USA" is still very boldly painted on my driveway. All of the advice for how to maintain my new tank I received only by asking for it. I suppose the integrity was muddled because of the unique situation where the old homeowners were paying for this, and I was left to make the final decisions and see the end result. It was a huge pain. I now have the blueprint of my tank and seepage pits, and I may just see if another septic service will help us out in the future. I feel bad leaving a low review, but I was so displeased with the mess they left behind. read more

The driver was very rude.I stood out side my house waiting for him , after we had just spoke on the phone. He told me He could find my house, Yelling at me from his truck, He wouldn't even get out of the truck to talk to me. I had to yell to him and I couldn't even hear him cause the truck was so louds. This Guy Greg is a TwoFaced individual with a bad attitude. I spoke to him on a Friday to do an inspection on my tank so I can close my escrow. He said he would be there on Tuesday. So on the weekend my Real Estate Agent called me asking to see if Greg could send me the information as to how much it would cost to repair the Tank if needed and how much it would cost to replace the Tank if need. Apparently that was to much to ask for and Greg abruptly sent me a Text message saying he had cancelled my appointment. I called him immediately and he did not answer so I Text him asking him to call me and he did not Text me back. So I called him again and he answered with an attitude as though he was a tough business guy and I asked him why he cancelled, He told me that he did not want to do the job because he stated "I don't want the buyer Nit Picking his work and getting in the way" Now remeber all I asked him for was a QUOTE on how much the Repair and a New Tank. I am thinking is Greg so full of himself that he can't even send a Customer a simple Quote to help me out to close on my home I am selling. He has now put me in a situation where I am going to Lose Out in the Sale of my home just because he is so Full of Himself He definately has a chip on he shoulder and I am surprised this guy Greg still has business with his Little Man attitude. As a Business Owner myself and a Retired Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant I would bend over backwards to help any of my customers no matter what their situation is and if one of my customers asked me for a simple Quote for any work they want done, I would Gladly get them what they need. Do not hire these clowns. Owner sent his son out for a septic inspection, son gave me list of what was wrong then her comes dad to chew son out and tell me what he thinks is wrong.Then he starts telling me that nothing that needs to be dug up was included in $750 price.Said he would need to dig up the existing system to verify it was there. Stated the system needed a seepage pit when in fact it had a brand new leach field. Refused to certify system so we had to call some one else and pay a second time. This guy has no knowledge of septic just gives you his opinion which could cost you a lot of money read more

In a stinky situation, they came out quickly, at the exact time they said they would be there, did what they said they would do for less money than was quoted, then came back a second day and did a beautiful job that day too. Cleaned up after themselves too. Best thing was they answered their phone at 4:30 p.m. on a Friday afternoon and came first thing Saturday morning and didn't charge extra for it. Unprofessional, unethical and unstable! Gardner was hired by our escrow company to install a new septic system, he sold the job to West Coast Sanitation with out ever letting us know(anyone for that matter), the only way I found out is because I read the Job card that was up for 2 hours for a job that took over 2 weeks. West Coast Sanitation showed up without letting us know, and started digging up our front yard. He tore out all our sprinkler lines and demolished our driveway, stole some of our gravel at the foot of our driveway, and didn't cap all the pipes he broke. The workers told us they would repair our sprinklers and we thought they would repair the driveway as well. I called Greg to let him know, he could dump the dirt in my backyard to save money on dump fees, he was elated. When I asked him when he would repair the drive way and the sprinklers he became Irate, incensed, and indignant, raising his voice and using profanity, and proudly proclaimed, that it was in his contract, he could cause damage and not be liable.But would give me a quote to fix it! I reminded him he was saving money on the dump fees, and he said that the dumping was not in the contract. Take this as a warning read your contract, he is sneaky, stingy and psychotic. The reason he installed after we bought the house is because he got in a fight with the previous owners, harassed his wife and made her cry, making her husband mad. Never did I raise my voice to this man and he was Irate and rude, and told me that He needs to put customers in their place. Got a new septic, but ended up with a huge head ache. Lots more to mention but enough said. Be Warned, stay away!!!!! A footnote, He even hassled to inspector, who was a really nice guy, who had to come out multiple times because of their errors. I think this guy needs to pump himself, he might be a little backed up! lol a little humor after a lot of headache. read more

I wasn't happy with the septic service company that came with our new home (in fact, I think they damaged an irrigation pipe which caused the problem I needed to address-turns out they have a very low rating on yelp) and wanted a replacement. The day of the appointment they were running a bit behind, so they called me to advise. Much appreciated! While at my home they were polite & immediately got down to business.
