Not only a beautiful building but it is well kept, clean, secure (typically see 3 armed police…read morestrolling around) and many services for the locals and travelers. A very well stocked store open from early until 9:30pm with everything your heart could desire - including (very) fresh produce, wine (of course) and everything else - also a GREAT coffee shop and patisserie. And oh yes - the trains - plentiful and reliable. Paris is 1 hour 45 minutes away and (on Saturday) 2 trains an hour (more during the week I think). In first class a comfortable way to travel - and regardless of class, a green way to travel.

We really only came here from Paris, but passed through a few times namely because we were heading out to some places in the regions. However, it wasn't one of the best, and while they probably had lockers (I didn't look, but I should have because it would have meant getting back to Paris much earlier), I wasn't something that was really on my mind at the moment. However, they are going through some renovations and sprucing the place up a bit.
