Outside the VA, it takes less than a week to find a primary care physician, and since I am still working and have good health insurance, I don't have to put up with this, so I choose not to. Back during Trump's first term, he fired some of the top brass at the VA, and the result was a step-function improvement in the operation of the VA medical system. That improvement seems to be eroding, and maybe it's time for Trump to clean house again.

If I had the time I would have taken my mom to an American doctor and translate for her without dealing with your lies and attitude. The one time I drove my mom, we waited for two hours with an appointment and the appointment was late afternoon. My mom is diabetic but she was still fasting for them to do blood test. They know she is diabetic but yet they give her the latest time possible. These people are careless. The doctor doesn't care about his patients. While we were waiting for him, they never once acknowledge his patients. Nobody had the courtesy to say "sorry for the long wait". Since they tell my mom they're always booked in the morning. My mom tried to schedule monthly appointments for the next few months to get ahead so maybe their calendar isn't so booked. The receptionist gives her attitude and still schedule her for the latest appointment in the day at 1 or 2pm knowing she is diabetic and has to fast for blood work. Who does that? I'm not even diabetic and I cant fast for blood work pass 11. Receptionist tell my mom they're booked in the morning for everyday of the month for the next six months. You are full of crap. They keep doing "blood tests" but they never have results. I cannot stand them, the doctor or his wife who are just really mean people. I also think they have are committing insurance fraud. When I need to see a specialist my records could not be found every time. Someone told me about FMC and after going through a medical nightmare I walk into the clinic. The front desk was full of smiling people. I went under Dr. Saddler and who gave me her nurse practitioner. For the 1st time in years I felt safe and well cared for. Dr. Saddler somehow was able to piece together my history. I then pull my son over and discovered his shot record was missing. I call the school district and pull all his records at home and took it to them and they put his info together also. The Doctors and Practitioners are the best I ever seen. They have a human side and are very caring. There are rules that you must live by in life 1. Tell God or your higher power everything 2. Tell your doctor what you are too embarrassed to tell God about 3. If you don't know the answer look it up or ask 4. Know that Dr. Saddler and her staff are mind readers and are very educated so the phrases No you shouldn't do that, see your dentist or eye dr, why didn't you tell me; are not a suggestion in their office.

Family Medical Center at Garland is a glorified clinic, there are dozens of doctors and a large…read morecommon waiting room. You are never really assigned one doctor so there is no way of building up a good doctor/patient relationship with any rapport. Many times you may not even see an MD at all, but a nurse practitioner. Expect to be rushed in and out like cattle. They really don't even seem to try and listen. I would choose Care Now or some other clinic over this place.
