I swear it seems like everytime I go in there those girls that work there rub me the wrong way!!!! They have this snobby attitude about them selfs! This would be a 0 stars if possible. The employees here are extremely rude, assertive, and just down right unpleasant. I've been in here 3 times and plan on never going back. The first time I was chased out due to the employee thinking I was stealing, the second I felt as if my presence in the store ruined their day, and the third I was escorted out for having a 6week old baby in tow. I understand (now, not then) it's the law, but they were beyond rude and acted as if the baby had the plague. Go to C&R down the street please. They're smaller but always super friendly with a pretty decent selection for the size of the store. read more

I have been to Garrett Creek (Black Beards) several times because it is convenient, and I have never had any problems. They have a large selection, but will make a special order for you if you ask. Both the ladies, Linda and Brook, have always been very helpful and are engaging. The Guys are very nice and helpful as well. The last time I was there I noticed the store was expanding and will be about 1/3 larger than it is now. CWE read more

The staff here are friendly, just don't expect them to be knowledgeable about the liquor they sell. They tried to convince me that Jameson was Scotch. The prices are also higher then other liquor stores in town. read more
