Almost one year ago, my husband and I were married at Garrison Gardens. My husband, myself, and our guests had nothing but good things to say about the experience! First off, the location is beautiful and not too off-the-beaten path as some wedding venues can be. Both my florist and photographer were overjoyed to work in such a beautiful space, and their enthusiasm for the venue was reflected in the wonderful work they did during my wedding. As an aside, there are two restrooms for women (thank you so much - this needs to be more common!) and a spacious, beautiful bridal suite perfect for a bride and a small group of family/friends/bridesmaids. I really enjoyed getting ready there. There are also valets who direct parking and drive those who are mobility-impaired down to the wedding site and to the reception hall afterward. Our elderly relatives and children of family and friends were accommodated at every instance and we really appreciated that. Second, Chuck and Karen were fantastic wedding coordinators! My husband and I had a somewhat unconventional wedding, but they were more than accommodating with our odd requests such as a guest potluck in lieu of catering and others. Chuck was a wonderful DJ and I heard many compliments from guests who spoke with him during our wedding. Karen ran a tight ship but was never overbearing or pushy with us. It was clear that both she and Chuck only wanted us to have a great day, and we were very appreciative how stress-less our wedding was! Third, the cost was very, very reasonable. My husband and I are from Little Rock where the only venues you can get are 1) in a barn, 2) six thousand or more dollars, 3) not very pretty, or all of the above! I greatly appreciated that we were able to pick the wedding package that suited us and allowed us to come in on the afternoon before to set up everything. To this day, I am still hearing compliments from my wedding guests telling me how perfect and beautiful our special day was. We had the absolute best experience planning our wedding and having it at Garrison Gardens. Initially we met to have a tour of the venue and the pictures online are only a sneak peek at the natural beauty of Garrison Gardens. Walking in on the bridge, I was completely breathless and humbled at the charming views, from the ceremony site to the reception building. You can tell all the little details were thought out & created with loving hearts. My heart is so full of such a wonderful wedding experience and I continuously receive compliments at how beautiful my wedding was, thanks to Garrison Gardens. My favorite part of the ceremony site is the waterfall. I also really enjoyed the newly remodeled bridal suite. Chuck was the DJ and did a wonderful job with the songs I requested. Karen was literally a lifesaver the day of! She coordinates the wedding on the wedding day & assured everything flowed smoothly on my special day. Looking back, there is no place I would have rather gotten married at. I recommend everyone I know to go to Garrison Gardens if they want a romantic, nature-filled, & stress-free wedding. Stay away from this place if your lgbt they will turn you away and claim that it's because of religious beliefs. But clearly it's 2020 us lgbt people can go to pretty much any church and get married! Real Christians and religious people don't judge others and they accept you for who you are. They say it's a sin well so isn't a lot of other things but you still let those people who sin get married. I guarantee if a transgender couple came they would never know because you can't tell the difference. These people are not professional. read more

My sister reached out to choose their venue for their wedding and they told her they will not support two people in love wanting to vow to one another forever because they are the same sex. How disgustingly ugly can you be as a person, as a wedding venue, to deny two people the chance to celebrate their love. The people who run this venue are ugly people on the inside. They do not deserve any business until they open their hearts to share this venue to all people. read more

My husband and I had our wedding originally scheduled for April 4 of this year but because of COVID guidelines we were forced to reschedule. Karen and Chuck were very accommodating and let us choose any of the open dates they had available. They also made the entire process stress free. As a bride, I didn't have to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding. They were super professional and helpful and their venue is picturesque! This person who owns this venue is making choices to uphold a narrow, violent way of life that uses a 5000 year old book to say that other people cannot and should not be able to live their lives the way they feel is right for them. That is profound violence, even if he is sugar coating the language. It is also a discriminatory practice, and borderline cruel to not make that policy known upfront. read more

They refused to host my wedding because I am part of the LGBT community. It is 2019. Love is love. Having a establishment that refuses to serve on the bases of sexual orientation is beyond unbelievable. My love is not any different than anyone else's. Beautiful Venue, Passively racist. They try to hide it, but it's pretty obvious when Karen talks. She likes to put the blame on someone else. I feel sorry for her husband, but after everything was done, the husband didn't seem any better either. I don't think the Venue is worth the trouble they put you through. read more
