They also took full boxes of stuff back with them when they left. I guess that is why It is leaking in the back room after they did the roof. They had insurance if I bought a certain shingle, the same price as the other shingles and it was mostly for wind damage. They did not register the shingle for that insurance, so basically they stole 300.00 dollars off of me. I put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, a month ago, but they did not put that there was a complaint on record after 30 days, if they didn't respond, you guessed it, they didn't respond. At around the same time,, I had my breast cancer surgery, and 2 days later I broke my wrist. I told them I was paying by check or cash because I would get a discount. They dropped their work crew of Mexicans (they asked me if I would be offended) I told them I didn't care what color or anything else, if they knew how to put a roof on, I was okayed with that. They didn't drop back about getting their payment that day, Early in the morning I got a call from sales, who said he was sending someone for the check, but said I could not because I couldn't write or sign it. He sent someone anyway and said he( would have someone help me write the check, I refused the person who came, I was still in my nightgown, and I was going to the bank later. They said the big boss was not going to be happy. So the big boss called me and said he heard I would not pay them. It pissed me off, I had to wait for months for them to come out to do the roof, after paying a large deposit, then showing me a list of 30 or more roofs that was before me, and he already had my check and it was a large cancellation fee. I said I was going to the bank, and it was the same bank he used. All I had to do is transfer the money. In total, it was over 11,000 dollars for a double-wide house, that was mostly flat. I paid probably 2000 dollars for the stuff they took back or more. I called them about the 300.00 dollars for the insurance, and they had a group of roofers go by my house, heckling me, I guess to intimidate me. You don't mess with a Philly girl, we just get mad! Do yourself a favor and pay a reputable contractor to work on your home. Sutryk & Sons, Inc. was not cooperative when problems were identified, lied to our face, and do not properly prep and install vinyl siding. They'll take your money and leave you with a cob job that will need to be fixed by another contractor. They have refused to fix our concerns and are no longer answering emails. We have already had water leak under a window after this installation due to their poor work processes and failure to flash the exterior. I would give zero stars if possible. Do not use this contractor for any work on your home!

This guy worked on our property for almost a year. He put an addition on our barn, he built us a…read moretractor shed. He put in a utility room for us (didn't quite finish that). We really trusted him. He started putting siding on our house. He was supposed to do windows and build an addition, he took money for the windows, for new garage doors, and for the addition. Then he demolished our patio where the addition was supposed to go and then walked off the job with our money. We have a partly sided house, no new windows, no new garage doors and a giant mess in our back yard where there used to be a patio. He dug a huge hole for one of the footings for the addition. It promptly filled with water and then no joke, snakes! He started paying us back then ghosted us still owing us thousands of dollars. We are talking to the DA about a criminal case and our lawyer about a civil case. Do not do business with this guy.
