He's not just a contractor we considered him a family aquaintence through his wife. We had one goal to move on before snow. He took 2 weeks after start date to get in our house and do work. But no biggy because he's a perfectionist. Right? Wrong. When I questioned him about being able to see drywall joints he threw a hissy fit and threatened to leave the job after being paid for some. After that day his work became sub par much worse than it already was. To this day we are still finding issues. $600 cabinets that aren't able to open because his capacity to look forward and see that trim would be blocking them was lacking. Our doors don't shut and there is a draft. Great during -20 degree weather and winter Right? We spent hundreds on trim and I spent hours staining it just to have to put it up crooked and split. He left 2 rooms untrimmed even though he agreed to do it. He rigged our electric stove wiring which seems like it could be unsafe. He left gaps between drywall joints. Couldn't put a toilet back on properly without it leaking all over. He cracked or split at a minimum of 5 of the 600 cabinets putting them up. The walls he put up are crooked and lean. If you ever run into this "man " I would look else where. To top it off he left a huge like of garbage he was supposed to take. Screws all over my yard and I end up getting a flat tire. And now to top it off the hack of a "contractor" that claims to be an anal perfectionist couldn't even put a sink in properly. The idiot couldn't cut pipe to length so he just set it there. Opened up sink to a flood of water. Keep reporting my posts you hack. I'll keep your face and info and shotty work all over social media. You should see how many people say your work sucks on FB.

Maureen Brockson The Roofer I was stupid enough to hire…read moreordered 20 sheets of wood to put under my shingle at 85 dollars a sheet, they only used 13 of them. They also took full boxes of stuff back with them when they left. I guess that is why It is leaking in the back room after they did the roof. They had insurance if I bought a certain shingle, the same price as the other shingles and it was mostly for wind damage. They did not register the shingle for that insurance, so basically they stole 300.00 dollars off of me. I put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, a month ago, but they did not put that there was a complaint on record after 30 days, if they didn't respond, you guessed it, they didn't respond. At around the same time,, I had my breast cancer surgery, and 2 days later I broke my wrist. I told them I was paying by check or cash because I would get a discount. They dropped their work crew of Mexicans (they asked me if I would be offended) I told them I didn't care what color or anything else, if they knew how to put a roof on, I was okayed with that. They didn't drop back about getting their payment that day, Early in the morning I got a call from sales, who said he was sending someone for the check, but said I could not because I couldn't write or sign it. He sent someone anyway and said he( would have someone help me write the check, I refused the person who came, I was still in my nightgown, and I was going to the bank later. They said the big boss was not going to be happy. So the big boss called me and said he heard I would not pay them. It pissed me off, I had to wait for months for them to come out to do the roof, after paying a large deposit, then showing me a list of 30 or more roofs that was before me, and he already had my check and it was a large cancellation fee. I said I was going to the bank, and it was the same bank he used. All I had to do is transfer the money. In total, it was over 11,000 dollars for a double-wide house, that was mostly flat. I paid probably 2000 dollars for the stuff they took back or more. I called them about the 300.00 dollars for the insurance, and they had a group of roofers go by my house, heckling me, I guess to intimidate me. You don't mess with a Philly girl, we just get mad! It had a large section covered with something black (some kind of mold maybe?) that I had tried numerous times to remove with my own pressure washer, and was never able to get rid of it. Jimmy didn't try to hurry the job, and instead meticulously went over each section of the driveway until it was perfect.
